i know reeds,analog electronics is also a hobby. problem with magnets in line with reeds is that the reeds tend to react stronger to a magnet.thats because you usually bend one leg of the reed along aside it,which then also gets magnetic thus affecting the reed itself here they are flat to save spac...

will have to wait and see. today it behaved quite steady,fewer swirls. the grease i used now is rather thin,so i think when temp rises i will have to replace it with thicker grease(like motorcycle chain grease). just disassemble it again en flush it out with hot running water. next is the temp/humid...

that might be a good idea,i will have a look if it is possible to open up the vane and ad some ballbearing grease.
i an easily get to my vane,so you won't have to get it down.

that is because i am still experimenting with the vane and program and the webpages. sometimes had to shut the program down to change values in the dayfile txt.(tinkering with the van gives me a 'lot of rain') :) removed the foam,it was soaking and not breaking anymore,so i changed my approach. i no...
