Website newbie question
I am having fun tinkering with the supplied Cumulus webpages, but I get confused about some things. I have altered the page with a different image and background and also added a forecast site. Now I wanted to add a Radar link to the bottom of the page so I edited the indexT.htm file and uploaded it...

Re: 186Beta796 update
I edited the indexT.htm file with the new code but it is not reflected on the web page. On the website control panel when I open the indexT.htm file the page has the new forecast info on it.?? Why does it not show when you click open the webpage? I also told Cumulus to send the new indexT.htm file a...

Re: 186Beta796 update
I can save the file to my 2nd hard drive, but when I click to open it it does not give a choice of where to install. The windows screen simply says "Run". It does indicate the "From 2nd drive". Is this indicating it would install on the 2nd drive? Thanks for any help

Re: 186Beta796 update
no problem here. i always let the update install into a spare directory,(eg:D://cumulus) rename in the working directory(C://program files/cumulus) the cumulus.exe to cumulus.exeold(1,2,3,etc) then copy the new cumulus exe from the spare directory into the working directory. so your other files are...

Cumulus 1.8.6 beta
Should you uninstall 1.8.5 first or will the beta install and replace the 1.8.5? If I upload the new website.css file should I delete the current .css file on the website?

Re: Gauges page question
Sorry to be making a mountain out of a mole hill. The rest of the site looks just fine except for this gauges page. I uploaded all files and have double checked. When uploading the dbimages folder, it would not allow the folder to be uploaded so I uploaded each individual file in the dbimages folder...

Re: Gauges page question
I have now uploaded all "web" and "webfiles" to the website. They are in the same Directory as Cumulus, should they be in the "images" Directory? The gauges page still looks the same. Sorry I am really new at this.

Re: Website startup
Thanks for you input Steve. I may have found one at a place called t35.com. They support ftp and their site has lots of help for newbies, including setting up directories. I may try it.

I didn't supply it with anything yet, so I guess I'll try another webhost. Any suggestions?
