Re: VP2 Repeater.
Thanks Paul. Just for the record, the above setup does work but as expected the barometer value comes from the console connected to the PC, which is what I was trying to avoid. Also, worth noting, over the distance I'm using, (about 30metres and 4 stone walls, 1 floor) the Console to Console gives a...

VP2 Repeater.
I have a VP2 wireless with 'non green dot logger' which has developed a barometer fault. I was going to have this repaired until someone gave me a 'new' console with no logger but which would require a new (green dot) logger. Before I dismantle my system could any one tell me if I could use 'new' co...

Re: Now we have crazy December weather in the UK
So far this year, 223 wet days, 128 dry.
Total rainfall: 646mm (20yr average: 690.7mm)
December 2015 is already the warmest I've recorded by a large margin, but contains only 4th warmest December day.

Re: Crazy November weather in the UK
The 10th November, was 15.9C here. Warmest November day 02/11/2007 - 16.8C.
This November currently tied as warmest month with 2007, but I suspect the next few days will reduce the month's average a bit.

Re: A novel real-time gauge display
That is absolutely spot on - pointer movements are
very realistic. With my, albeit older Climatica, looking well.- Sat 21 Nov 2015 1:15 am

Re: Windows 7 Auto Start / IP Binding
I may be missing something here but I run MX on a 'headless' Acer Revo on Win10 accessed by Team Viewer. On startup I log on automatically with Admin priviledges and have put a shortcut to CumulusMX in: C:\Users\'Username'\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup This works fine...

Re: Awekas
I just filled in my Awekas login details in Cumulus MX and stopped uploading the Awekas file to my website.

Davis VP2 Barometer
It appears my pressure sensor has failed, either slowly dropping at 2 -4 mb per day or wildly varying from 880 - 1090! I'm using the 'Instromet' barometer values for my website & records but the graphs generated by Cumulus require the Davis input. Has anyone replaced the sensor? The part is avai...

Not what you are looking for, but I found this helpful when I had some (self inflicted) USB problems recently.

Excellent photo, Mark!
No real sign of any wind effect here. About 09.37 was the minimum sunlight here and you could argue there was an increase.

Not going to bore you with images, but the temperature drop could be felt, and it was quite dark.
