Re: 14 years ago today...
How many users did Cumulus have then? Not sure about before June 2nd, 2008 when Steve became user #1 on the forum, but current still active forum member Stuart (broadstairs) shows as member #24 on August 14 and mine as #58 September 28. One has to remember that from the first public release on 27th...

Re: Error when opening NOAA annual report
I am puzzled why a problem with May data has not been identified before as we are now in September. Is it because you don't have a C:\Cumulus\ReportsNOAAYR2022 file, and this is first time you have tried to view/generate that report, or because you have recently edited C:\Cumulus\data\Μαϊ22log.txt ?...

Re: Local webtags
@Mapantz: I perhaps should have mentioned, if you view (in developer tools/options for your browser) the Network tab, and then click on the JSON data file, you can see the available data item names such as "WindLatest". The fact that these abbreviated names match a subset of web tag names ...

Re: Local webtags
Just as an aside, this is more evidence that the Cumulus 1 terminology "webtags" continues to generate much confusion in a MX context. I made my own web page specifically for a tablet, but now I want to convert it to read the data locally... Is there a list of all of the local webtags? Ple...

Re: Editing the web tags Wiki page
Thank you for starting the rewriting task. it is also a major edit in the wiki changing that word everywhere you find it. Not only where it is linked ... I will look at what it takes to change the term as a separate edit Actually this will be a minor task. The Wiki provides a global editing function...

Re: Editing the web tags Wiki page
Don't direct general Wiki questions to me, as you have discovered with your contributions, I was able to contribute text to Wiki with almost no understanding of how it works. That said I suspect that your guess is right; creating a redirect does mean old page name is retained with sole purpose of ca...

Re: changing day start
I was having some problems and wanted to compare some data to my wll If I understand your posts in other topics correctly , the actual issue is that you have 9am rollover in MX, but want to compare to calendar day based WLL data, and all you want to compare is data for just part of last month (Augu...

Re: changing day start
how does it affect files All files except alltime.ini are affected in some way. Much of the Cumulus design is based on daily extremes, those are highly dependent upon what hours are included in each day. My advice would be, if you do change rollover time, archive the old files in data folder, and l...

Re: File Locations
It populates with the .json files from the weather station. I have forgotten how to link those files Do you mean you have forgotten the setting which "unlocks" the .json file settings? It is : Settings menu of interface → Internet settings → web/FTP settings → select I want to use the sup...

Re: Bug - changes to MySQL settings
Both, I don't need telling old approach still works, that is what I already reverted to. I simply reported new functionality has bug, so nobody else gets caught by trying what was announced.

Bugs MX release 3.20.0 build 3199 - changes to MySQL settings (CLEARED 3.21.1 - b3205)
Edited SUBJECT on 6 Sept to say BUGS CLEARED When I swapped from legacy Cumulus to MX I was able to use the Custom SQL at rollover functionality. I had multiple queries with semi-colons in-between typed into the very small input box on the "MySQL Settings" page. There were conditionals in...

Re: Editing High 24h rain records in b3202
Attached are fixed scripts for the other editors. Now I understand , those new items did not have the dashed lines under them in the interface editors (see HansR reply that quoted my earlier post) because the JS in the 3202 zip had not defined them as editable (which is the only change made in the ...

Re: language modification lunar phase to Spanish / modificación de idioma fase lunar al español
Here in the documentation there is some text discussing making similar translations to French, does that help you?
Like much of the Wiki documentation, that has not been updated when MX started changing very rapidly, but the basic idea has not changed.

Re: Editing High 24h rain records in b3202
My all time records are showing a crazy value of over 9000mm of rain for a 24 hour period, but the editor will not allow any change to it. No other field has that problem. Same applies when I try to edit the error in Monthly Records or This Year's Records. There is no rogue rainfall showing for the...
