Re: Important - Highcharts Licensing
I'm starting my experiments with other open-source JavaScript packages by first adapting Mark's existing Highcharts to the Saratoga template Then I'll modify the scripts for each tested package. Here's what my adaptation of the existing Highcharts looks like: 2024-04-09_CUMX-Highcharts.jpg 2024-04-...

Re: CustomLogs as module
Hans, as always, you are reliable in helping  . Way to go. Script works. OK. I'll make a description of how to continue with cumulusutils.js which would make it possible for you to use the CUtils website infrastructure (not compulsory) of loading reports/charts from menu choices. Much like Ba...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024
A nice addition to this eclipse thread is the following: https://twitter.com/gunsnrosesgirl3/status/1777353589360329200 During a solar eclipse, the gaps between leaves on trees act as multiple pinhole cameras, and each gap projects its own crescent-shaped image of the eclipsed sun onto the ground. C...

Re: CustomLogs as module
OK, thanks. My first attempt should give the confirmation for a solution, after that we will decide on the definitive implementation Could you enter the following script in your header of your index file ( <!-- Utility javascripts for all pages. --> would be an adequate place) so: <!-- Utility javas...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024
Nice @Paul, you see the darkness creep in but not touching the ground so to speak. @15:17 the eclipse is at its maximum.
Interesting series.

I am also interested in your results. I have been looking at alternatives as well - no experiments, just theory and syntax - and i am very confused here.

Re: CustomLogs as module
Hi... I started looking at it. Sorry for the delay. I see you use a file graphstemp.html. I am not sure what that does. The new urlParams variable apparently goes unseen in your situation. And... aha... I see what happens. I'll get back on this one but could you post your graphstemp.html in the mean...

Re: Installing CMX v4
Personally I would remove any dotnet installation you have and install anew with the official instruction as given by Mark . To do so, open a terminal window in the GUI (the black screen which give you the command line) and do it all from there. The final test for the dotnet command shows you if it ...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024
You're really in great position to watch the eclipse Paul! Congrats! From your house. Ooohhh... What a Lucky Man he was :) And don't mind the weather. I was in the north of France in 1999 for the full eclipse and beside that it was a total madhouse (hundreds of people on a 5 tent farm camp site) it ...

Re: Importing old data into CMX V4
My question is, can the import facility as described be used for short imports of a few week, months etc? I’ve occasionally had to import just a couple of days worth of data from my Davis when a piece of Ecowitt equipment has failed. I’ve just used the import program from the original Cumulus and i...

Re: Cutils reports not uploading
www.stewartonweather.com/Reports - is where they are on the ftp but going there manually brings up a 404 You see the 404 because there is no page in the directory Reports , the reports are text files only shown through the proper menu choice in either the CMX interface or CUtils. wow Paul - am I re...

Re: CUtils v7 upgrade notes
Then check the naming of the directory CMX sends the reports to. Capitals are relevant!
If still nothing, please post Cumulus.ini and cumulusutils.ini
I assume all other upload work fine?
