My Vantage Vue arrived yesterday and is working away very well. Very well designed except for the datalogger connection to the console. I found that the plug came out of the socket too easily and I lost connection to the software. Not realising that is what had happened I suspected software problem...

I was just gonna ask same thing, is it a good move to buy one of these So apart from the above link, is there anything else I need to worry about, going to mount it on roof. I have my on a pole mounted on brick shed down the bottom of the garden, if I need to I get the ladder out and climb up there...

Hi Steve yes think that was the problem, USB selective suspend settings was enabled.

"Restart if data stops" can cause Cumulus to restart. There's a clue in the name ;) My guess would be that you have some USB power saving settings enabled, I believe these are set by default in Windows 7. Hello Steve, will have to check the USB power settings sure I did do but just done b...

Just recently upgraded my machine from XP to Win7 and everything seems to be running fine. image not showing help!
Only just noticed this, I have the banner on my page and its no longer showing up in firefox or even safari on my mac... the only browser it shows seems to be IE8 and IE11
