Re: Cleaning up New Data
Hi All, Replaced my Fine Offset with a VP2 last month & have just noticed some issues in the data. Initially ran old data transferred to MX, but then moved the station to a different PC and started data fresh. (That's if memory serves me correctly, it was 3 weeks back, could have been new data ...

Re: CumulusMX Shutdown
Ended up finding a lot of utilities have issues sending Ctrl-C to a command prompt box. Particularly when it's run with administrative privileges. Ended up finding Auto Hot Key worked for me. http://ahkscript.org/ Others might be able to refine the script a bit, but basically it activates the window...

Re: Hover chart popup setup guide for MX
Wondering if anyone can point me to a good step by step guide to setting up the hover charts for the steel series gauges on MX for a complete novice. I've done a bit of searching on the forum and have found a few related posts but nothing that seems to describe the process from scratch. At a comple...

Re: Weatherlink install.
You have to shut down Cumulus first. Did you do that? They both cannot talk to the datalogger at the same time. Not really relevant, as it's an installation issue, but it wasn't running anyway. What is not mentioned in any of the searches relating to failed installations of weatherlink, is the CP21...

Love a simple utility that just works.

Re: CumulusMX Shutdown
Duke is correct Ctrl + C is the answer. If you look in the Command Prompt window it tells you how to shut it down in the boot process. And task scheduler should easily be able to send that to CMX. I'm open to suggestions on how to send Ctrl-C with the scheduler. Having difficultly locating a suitab...

Re: CumulusMX Shutdown
Hmmm,
Sending Ctrl-C was my first thoughts, but it doesn't seem this is possible from the search results I see.

CumulusMX Shutdown
Had a bit of a search & don't find any references.
How is the best way to shutdown CumulusMX for a scheduled reboot on a Windows PC?
Is it safe to just force the reboot with shutdown.exe /r
or is there a more graceful way to terminate Cumulus?
Thanks

Weatherlink install.
Hi all, Just got my Vantage Pro2 up yesterday & have it working fine with CumulusMX. Wanting to get Weatherlink running though, as I've seen a few say it's useful for configuring the station. Have just managed to get it installed on the unstable Vista Pro LT I'm about to retire, but refuses to i...

Re: Automatic data upload to UK Met Office WOW
Ok,
I see I have User ID & Site Id confused & have corrected that, but I still don't see where I setup a "Site Pin",
the only thing seemingly related is the Authentication Key.
Phil.

Re: Automatic data upload to UK Met Office WOW
Any feedback on this service? Created a site a few hours ago, but not seeing any updates yet. Some of the terms seem different to what I've seen described, like:- Site ID; I see User ID on their page; 4fb250a3-6087-e611-9401-0003ff59aed0 And I don't see Pin; I see "Authentication Key" unde...

Re: Can you run Weather Display and Cumulus at the same time?
Just received a VP2 with Weatherlink USB & I'm wondering the same. I know the USB can't be shared but what about Weatherlink IP. Many on my other IP devices allow multiple connection, what about the Davis. Does it allow multiple TCP connections to the same port? Other thing, being new to it; is ...

Re: Instromet Data Logger, CumulusMX and Raspberry Pi
I'm struggling with this too. Moving from Cumulus 1 to MX & upgrading to a Davis next week I wasn't seeing realtimegauges.txt on my web host but now it is, but it doesn't contain data. added extra files as:- /CumulusMX/web/realtimegaugesT.txt & /public_html/weather/realtimegauges.txt for loc...
