Re: Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

With the help of the staff at MeteoBlue I’ve finally got the weather widget working across all platforms including iOS. There was a <a command messing things up. Hard to spot unless you’re an expert which I’m definitely not. If anyone wants to add a widget to their website I can highly recommend Met...

Re: CMX unresponsive

My website went down at 18:17GMT yesterday and I spotted it around 21:00. I raised a ticket with HostPresto which was answered inside 15 mins. They said the servers were down for upgrading and would be back online once completed. Service resumed around 22:15. They did say there was a notice in the C...

What’s that meant to mean? I ask politely for you to post elsewhere and you come back with that. :groan:

Re: Storm Henk

Storms around this time are common. None more so than that of 2 January 1976. Why would I remember that? Because we went to see the premier of Jaws in Manchester and there was a really violent storm that day. The film and the weather left a lasting impression. :D

Re: Vantage Vue Console Wouldn't Connect with Cumulus 1

I had a similar scare when the datalogger came out. Even pushing it back in didn't help connect to Cumulus. It required a reboot of the computer after which all was well again.

I try not to move either console or computer to keep my stress levels reasonable!

Re: New Record? Post here.

48.29” (1227mm) here in Cheshire making it the wettest year by far since I started in 2009. Around 150% of that expected. Previous wettest was 40.1” back in 2012. But only two days when >1” was recorded.

Re: Rainfall too low

Hi Mark,

Happy New Year to you. :D Here's my rainfall data as requested. I added an extra column for rainfall in mm as I store it in inches.

Let me know if there's anything else you need. I hope it helps and is in the required format.

Re: Rainfall too low

I've compared my December rainfall (149mm) to a station in Handforth (IWILMS14) which has a Davis VP2 and his is 145.8mm.

He bought his VP2 in early March 2022 ans his rainfall totals with a spoon mechanism is very close to mine.

Re: Rainfall too low

Mark, I record in inches so below is a sample of the file I've created. Would you prefer inches, millimetres or both? Date format okay?

date,rainfall,rainfall_mm
01/01/2023,0.55,13.97
02/01/2023,0.02,0.51
03/01/2023,0.35,8.89
04/01/2023,0.03,0.76

Re: Rainfall too low

I split these posts out of the records thread as they weren't relevant there. Ray, I know you keep your data in an Access database, could you extract your total daily rainfall for each day of 2023 for me please? CSV format would be great: "date","rainfall" No, rush. Thanks I’ll ...

Re: Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

Google search revealed nothing that has helped. I wrote to MeteoBlue support and had a reply inside 2 hours.

They suggested a larger zoom (over 5) but that didn't help. They'll ask their tech people to determine why it's fine with Windows and my Android smartphone but not with an Apple iPad.

How is that achieved? I'll google it and see if anything helps.

Re: Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

The MeteoBlue widgets appear when i use my Windows laptop but not on my iPad. I've cleared the Safari website data but no joy. Just seeing placeholders.

Some permissions required?
