Hans,
Thanks for the response.
I will look at changing the web site upload rate but I host my own websites and the web server (NginX) is hosted on the same RPi 4 on which I run the two instances of CumulusMX. Data is copied to the server - not FTP'd.
Cheers

Re: problems with dates on records
What locale do you have set for your station and for your computer? It looks as if something is mis-interpreting dates somewhere along the line.
I'm not sure what the two attachments are showing us either - they seem to have different logging periods.

Re: HP2551 Weather Station wind rose points
I may be wrong here but doesn't CumulusMX determine the number of compass points? I have an Ecowitt station with an HP2551 and CMX certainly logs the wind bearing (in degrees and compass points with 16 'points'). I'm pretty sure that Cumulus does the bearing to compass points - in any event my HP255...

Thanks Hans,
No rush - it's not affecting data display elsewhere.

Re: It would be nice to save the lightning data to a file
Yes I should be able to do both table updates in MySQL via CumulusMX but I would probably still need a bit of python to produce the JSON files?

Re: It would be nice to save the lightning data to a file
Attached is the python I use - it requires Python 3 and is not the best example! I found that Python has some limitations in handling creation of json files hence a funny bit of code towards the end. I run this code via a CRONTAB entry 30 2 * * * /usr/bin/python3 /home/pi/esdaily.py >> /home/pi/esda...

Re: It would be nice to save the lightning data to a file
I do this in a slightly different (and more complex?) manner. I use a MariaDB for CumulusMX data storage as this allows more flexibility in generating reports. I have created a table to log all ExtraSensors (I have Ecowitt Internal temp sensors, WH45 indoor Air Quality and CO2, and WH57 Lightning de...

Graph issue on first load of website?
Hi, I have, over the weekend, installed cumulusutils and like the results - good work Hans. However I have noticed a small issue when I access my website. On the first page it displays everything correctly apart from the last data point on the graph in the RH panel. This seems to show an erroneous l...

Re: CMX 3183 crashes
It looks as if Mono is being 'fingered' as the guilty party by the crash dump! I am running a similar setup to you with one noticable exception - I am still on Debian 10. I run two instances of CumulusMX with two Ecowitt weather stations, one using GW1000 and the other using an HP2551 console. The s...

PING issue with 3170
I have just updated one of my CumulusMX instances and get the following in MXDiags on startup 2022-03-10 15:45:48.034 ========================== Cumulus MX starting ========================== 2022-03-10 15:45:48.040 Command line: /usr/lib/mono/4.5/mono-service.exe -d:/home/pi/CMX CMX.exe -service -p...

Re: Raspberry Pi image on old Pi?
If you have built the Rpi image from the repository then you should be able to use sudo apt install mono-complete to install a working version of mono. It will be behind the current version of mono from their website - but it should work.

Re: Website local copy problems
Have you 'mapped' the remote drive on the CumulusMX RPi to the share on your server? A line like this should be added to /etc/fstab and a mount -a should mount the device (and it will be re-mounted each re-boot). //nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn/share-directory /mnt/SOMENAME cifs credentials=/home/pi/credential-fi...
