Re: Cumulus Webtags for Realtime format

Surely, unless you are in changeable conditions, the 10 min average is pretty much going to be the same as current ?

Re: Need some help

... but I'm lacking tags/content on my web page ... That is a fairly important requirement ;) Basically you need to construct a html T emplate with <#webtags> in it, and have it somewhere suitable on your PC. See Cumulus help and http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Webtags Then, Cumulus needs to be told t...

Re: Need some help

realtime.txt is located OK, ergo / [slash] path is correct. It would seem that you wish to populate a home-brew page with Cumulus data. So: The file must be processed by Cumulus before upload The upload path/name must be restated from the 'root' quoted on the config page. eg. /htdocs/live_weather_30...

Re: very weird. Realtime.txt decides to act up

This usually is a result of realtime.txt being 'unavailable' - ie. the file is being uploaded at the same time. If your server supports it tick the 'Use FTP rename' option in config / internet and un tick 'Delete before upload'. NB. If your server does NOT support rename, you will never find realtim...

Re: Sunshine Recorder

we actually recognise the sun. Even in daylight there would be no correlation between the sun hours and cloud. My vague understanding is that you are measuring IR ? If that is the case then (night) cloud reflects Earth IR, whilst 'clear' night would be a (very) low reading ? Or am I over simplifyin...

Re: Cumulus web pages

Re: Sunshine Recorder

Hmm ........ How is the output 'stored' ? Is it just light / dark or 'levels' of light / dark. Would it be feasable to have a 'software' switch to reprocess a (detailed) days data, or would it perhaps be better to create a seperate (less accurate) data file ? ... Or just leave it as a good job done ...
