I've found when that happens, just clear your browser cache.

For that matter, I open the MX dashboard ONLY under a Chrome incognito window. Never loads cache.

Re: VP2 coming out of setup mode on its own

This problem first occurred after I updated the VP2 to 3.12 Jan 2013. There’s not enough time to change a DFARS fan, let alone strip and clean a VP2. Sent Davis an email saying since 3.12 console set up time way too short for anything more than setting up. Suggested setup could be improved by using...

but literally from any location with internet access, as long as you open the correct ports. Not a very safe thing to do as this will allow access to Cumulus computer by anyone using a port scanner as there is no password protection on the interface and they could cause untold harm!! I'm a network ...

Wind chill conversion during outage

Steve, I don't post on here a lot, but will in the future. Love the new work and keep on! I found something that may be considered a defect (i'm a software QA engineer by trade, so we use funny terminology for 'bugs'). I noticed that Cumulus wasn't running for about 7 hours overnight; Microsoft inst...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

BTW I much prefer the setup page in the "old" Cumulus to the MX version It's inevitable that I'm not going to please everyone all of the time, but I'm surprised by that. The MX internet settings page is, to me, far cleaner than the Cumulus 1 settings screen, and everything is much easier ...

I think all of them struggle to be stable in wind, a breeze is different. My friends big octocopter is remarkably stable, but it should be with the cost of the electronics in it  That is a two man rig though, one to pilot and a camera man to control the 4k video camera. I was surprised how w...

Mike, I'm surprised that's your highest rainfall rate in 3 years. Consider yourself very lucky! ;) That's only 2.64"/hr. You must be in the rain shadow of the Welsh hills! For comparison my highest for July is 9.76"/hr in July 2009 and 10.29"/hr in August last year. What was interest...

A hobby I have reacquired.

So, in one of the other forums I note that as a youngster, my dad stoked my love of aviation by teaching me how to fly RC planes. This was back in the seventies, so it was rather rudimentary (gas engines, no FPV and the like). Last year someone showed me one of these 'drones' (I'd rather they not be...

You could always try using the following in a SSH session (this works, I've done it before but not sure with mono programs)..

nohup programname &

nohup tells linux to ignore the hangup signal

I do not know if it is known yet, or how this will effect Cumulus program itself. but I thought it would be a good Idea to post it here, so the owner can make any changes to it. if need be before Cumulus goes down on twitter posts.... Twitter Removing the 140 character limit from Direct Messages We...

Re: Unexpected Missing Data

Well, one thing, you won't have any data on 31/04/13, unless you live in an alternate time space (only 30 days in April). Sounds like a corrupted May13log.txt file for the first 12 days. That's just a theory though. Oh jesus! How can I forget that? I'm not sure how it got corrupted. Cumulus i...

Re: Invalid date format(bad integer)

I'm not going to argue with you about whether this is a bug or not, that's not the point, and the attitude you are taking is not productive. There are lots of aspects of Cumulus that could be considered bugs and/or design faults. The fact is, as I have already explained, that some of the routines w...
