That's odd because I'm pretty sure Cumulus calculates the annual figure by adding up the daily values. I'll check the code later when I get home. In the WeatherLink phone app you can edit the yearly rainfall todate.

Devices > Edit > Stations and sensors > Edit > Advanced settings

You can do similar on the weatherlink.com web site.

It's made by Ecowitt and rebadged as Ambient (who have some rights to resale in the USA), but it is also locked down and restricted in some respects (fewer sensor types available etc) compared with the Ecowitt equivalents.
