Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
Greetings, Looking for a bit of input/help on this one please ... I've installed/incorporated the BT-Sager script into the Cumulus web output and it seems to be working very well with quite accurate forecasts; all be it that our local weather here in our region of Spain IS VERY localised. https://dr...

Re: Upgrading to v3047 from v3043 ...
Even though I always had the "Synchronise Fine Offset reads" check box ticked, the software/station was always prone to the dreaded USB Lockout; hanging several times each week despite tinkering with the settings as suggested in several posts on the forum. However, since switching to v3047...

Re: Upgrading to v3047 from v3043 ...
3046 and 3047 detail the files that have changed in the posts announcing the releases. FWIW it might be worth just copying your data folder, your web folder and your Cumulus.ini file to a safe place and then removing your exisiting installation (or just move it) and make a fresh install and copy ba...

Upgrading to v3047 from v3043 ...
Greetings to one and all, I've just downloaded the latest version of MX (v3047). Before I dive in and update, can anyone please tell exactly which files have changed as I don't want to lose the modifications which I've made to the web site interface and the additional BT's Global Sager Weathercaster...

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
Yes, the secure server change in the web address was the culprit ... change made, and now it's all working again.
Thanks fly out to 'beteljuice' for the input

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
Hi, Mine's been like that too for a couple of days. I thought it was because our local airport has now closed and revert to sole use by the Spanish Airforce and so now doesn't have an ICAO code. I edited the code in the php file to use the code for our new regional airport, but it didn't make any di...

Re: Port Numbers ...
From Cumulus MX Announcements It is now possible to override the default port for the websocket server, by passing a -wsport parameter to the program, e.g.: sudo mono CumulusMX.exe -wsport 8888 This is useful if port 8002 is already in use, or you want to run multiple instances of MX on the same ma...

Re: Port Numbers ...
Brilliant info... many thanks. OK, not looking to make an ass out of myself but as a novice to pi/Linux .... in the boot command for CUmulusMX I now know how to change the port that Cumulus uses at start up and thanks to your post I know how to change the web socket port ... but as both the standard...

Re: Port Numbers ...
Many thanks. Having looked again at the article I see. Apologies.
As an after thought, do I also need to do this with port 8002 as well using the same syntax ?
Thanks

Re: Port Numbers ...
Brilliant ... thanks for the heads up. However, as a novice to Pi, what would be the correct syntax to use to invoke Cumulus with the -port and -wsport syntax ? Many thanks (I'm asking this as I'd like to run the Pi as a back to back against the mini pc to see if it's as good as or better and I don'...

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi
Cheers ;) Just one quick question ... when I have MX installed on the Pi, is there a way to change the port settings that CumulusMX will use ?? I ask this as I've already got it running on a stand alone mini pc using ports 8998 and 8002 ... I think. I know it's theoretically possible to forward thes...
