Re: Location and name?
Is the gentleman with fretless bass aware that his id has already been abused and is on at least two uncontrolled spam blacklists ? Forums and domains are now routinely having genuine data trawled and used for other purposes. And it is very easy for someone who 'wants to make it personal' to get eno...

Damp - A Cautionary Tale ......
Just to show how damp / temp can affect your thermo / hygro unit ...... This applies to LaCrosss 23xx / Technoline, and quite probably Watson (sic) The beteljuice has been concerned about the external temperatures the last couple of weeks. they seem to reporting several degrees low :? So today I too...

Re: Cumulus website in other languages
George - your : and ; are reversed at the end, should be: <div id="ajaxEND" style="display: none;"></div> Although you are not actually using any ajax on that page at all, you could dump the script call ! In your ad there is a " too many screwing things up <div id="capt...

Re: Eratic temperature readings
Thanks for the 'breakdown' goldrush  The cable length may be pushing it, the 'direction' information is analogue, ie. specific resistance 'steps' see this thread : https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=492&start=30 But because of that, may still be a damp / corrosion problem.

Re: Eratic temperature readings
Goldrush, how did you prove it was the anemometer ?
Have you found an electronic / mechanical failure, or could be still be either a 'damp', or unsheilded cable problem ?

Re: Phantom Rain and other quirks
My experience with this is LaCrosse kit, but the rain buckets are exactly the same. Once, whilst playing with a CATtle fence 8-) I kept getting odd rain clicks (especially with increased humidity), I eventually traced it to the rain bucket. No amount of shielding or changing cabling or earthing woul...

Re: HTML dilemma
Code: Select all
.. ie: the data should refresh every 2 mins ...
Do you mean you are uploading data every two minutes ?
The pages are 'static' ie. in each of the cumulus page headers you would need to put a meta page refresh tag, then the frame contents would update at whatever period set.

<#isdaylight> and <#forecastnumber> Webtags
New <#webtags> <#isdaylight>, <#forecastnumber> What's the point ? Well ........ If you are using the 'normal' xxxT.htm template method of updating your website - things just got a whole lot more interesting :D You don't even need to use JavaScript ! First of all the following assumes that you crea...

Re: An aspirated screen for the WH1080
has some charging circuits inside (not a direct connection to the panel elements) and gives out a charging pulse rather than direct DC, so it won't run any kind of motor direct. I hadn't realised that - one for people to watch outfor !! I thought the kit came with a long cable so you could have you...

Re: An aspirated screen for the WH1080
You've not had the weather to check it yet repairman, probably have to wait until the next global warning scare  Having got a 'muffin' fan (40mm x 40mm) in the huge amount of debris on my table, I got to thinking sideways. They seem to vary between 0.07A => 0.16A, start up 7.0V, prefered runnin...

Re: idea for a php script?
Your thinking is still incomplete little one - it doesn't know when it's daylight, only time of (today) dusk. eg. currently 03:15 (dark) your page says "814 minutues of daylight left" (your spolling mistook, nyet myne) <?php include 'cumulustags.php'; $tmp = explode(":",$dawn); $...

Re: custom forecast : THANKS !
I assume - because it's an ini file, you would need to restart Cumulus for any changes to take effect.
