Re: MX start-up data error

As I have already told you:
Sorry Steve I thought the answer you refer to was for someone else. I will take on-board your advise and hunt down the "zero" culprit.

MX start-up data error

I have had internet connection errors over the past few days requiring restarting MX. Upon the start barometric data starts with a zero value and then records the proper data on the next read. This is obviously a problem with my installation as this did not happen in the past. So my question is wher...

Re: Cumulux MX does not download Archive Data on Start

I too experience a data start at a zero value when I shut down MX and restart within a few minutes.
Ignore - just found a bad (zero) pressure data point in the data files. Everything now correct.

Re: Cumulux MX does not download Archive Data on Start

You apparently closed Cumulus down and then started it up again almost immediately. There was one archive entry to download, MX correctly downloaded and processed it I too experience a data start at a zero value when I shut down MX and restart within a few minutes. In my case this only manifests wi...

Re: Multiple Instances of MX will not run [Fixed]

I just incremented the ports by one for the second instance Hello Mark - I have one instance of MX up and running. I see the need to change ports for a second instance and think I have that half resolved using CumulusMX.exe - port 8988 - but how do I change the web socket port to, for example, port...

Re: No "Wind Run"

Hello Steve -

As always "spot on." Working perfectly. :D Never occurred to me as wind speed, direction, etc. was OK - Wind run is, of course, a running calculation. :bash:

No "Wind Run"

I am operating two weather stations. One an Oregon WM-88. The other a WMR968. This allows me to use the WMR-968 to collect wind data only. I am just becoming familiar with CumulusMX and have successfully accessed (seperately)both weather stations with MX. When accessing the WMR-88 all data displays ...

Re: altimeter

I have updated the standard library to v0.14.14, that includes the optional title and unit strings on the Altimeter gauge.
I looked at Github but the file says v14.13 - where should I be looking.

Re: YawCam help please?

On YawCam have you tried other 'Format Control' settings such as color 'Space/Compression' and 'Output size.' Try various combinations - first to render an image and then to stabilize output. Try them all - one may please both YawCam and the Cam at the same time. gwheelo LifeCam Studio and YawCam ht...

Re: A "Rose" by another name.

From what I have read over the years on this forum - this might be a better use of a Polar array Diagram - you might have to 'Right-Click' on the image.

A "Rose" by another name.

On the Catalan coast of Spain the wind rose takes on a form all its own. Rather than 'North", "East", etc.. the winds have distinct names such as "Tramuntana", and Garbi. Rather than 8 or16 equal wind quadrants the Catalan "Rose" has nine and each as a different ar...

Re: WMR928 Anemometer transmitter

Have you tried the obvious - tried a 'reset" , new batteries, clean battery contacts, substitute nicad from another transmitter (nicad may have a short). When everything is functioning you should see the red light blink shortly after inserting batteries and then a blink on scheduled transmit. I...
