MX not talking to console
I have been doing quite a bit of work getting data out of MySQL and today MX decided it could not get the data from the console. Restarting MX fixed that problem (what caused it I don't know) BUT, during the time MX could not get the data from the console, it kept sending the same data to MySQL ever...

Re: Highcharts Graphs
Hi Mark, Just a quick question for clarification purposes. In your scripts you use several table names that are not what CMX creates as the part of the SQL setup. Could you please provide your equivalent table names for the following CMX tables: CMX table Your table Dayfile Monthly Realtime If you c...

Re: Highcharts Graphs
Just thinking a little more on that and realised even that is wrong.
MX is storing the log file date as daylight time, MySQL is set to use standard time so I will have to think a little more on that.

Re: Highcharts Graphs
I know this thread is now over a month since the last post but thought I would chime in on Tony's problem with time zone conversions. If the hosting providers version of MySQL does not have the Timezone tables populated then you can't use the Australia/Hobart format for time conversion. The only way...

Re: Major MX crash tonight.
Checked the console and it was displaying a constant "R" in the bottom right corner of the display. Checked the manual and it said to enter Setup Mode and then exit Setup Mode. Did that and the station started receiving data again. It even looks like it retained nearly all the data but the...

Major MX crash tonight.
Didn't notice a problem until I decided to just check it now.
It told me to zip up the files in the MXdiags folder and post them, so here they are.

_wapi_handle_unref_full: Attempting to unref unused handle
Not sure what this error is but it only shows up when I quit CMX. I get a bunch of these lines _wapi_handle_unref_full: Attempting to unref unused handle 0x10a Then I get one of these * Assertion: should not be reached at mutexes.c:366 Then heap of the first error again, then the second, then a smal...

Re: Data input stops after IOException
Unfortunately I left it to late to do that and the data in the logger has rolled over.
At least I know that I can do that if it happens again.

Re: Data input stops after IOException
The set up is a weather link 6520 usb connected to a Mac mini running El Capitan server. If it happens again then I will turn on the data logging. Restarting CMX seems to have resolved the issue for now but unfortunately I have lost all the data from the time it flatlined.

Upload (include) graph data files.
Let me see if I can explain this properly...... If I select the option "Include graph data files" in the Settings > Internet Settings menu, then the .json files get updated and sent to the root directory of the FTP server. If I don't select the option, then the .json files are NOT updated ...

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX
Finally manage to figure it out. When I made that last post, I thought about the fact that the standard Mac install of Apache and PHP is not like a standard web server one. After doing a bit of digging, it works out that TTF support is NOT part of the standard install that they supply. After transfe...

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX
I host my own server on a Mac mini so all files are edited locally and just copied via the OS. No ftp involved.

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX
It was showing the weird character before I modified the code. So I don't think that was the issue.
