Just as an aside, are you confident that your anemometer is calibrated accurately enough to warrant worrying about +/-1 mph on a gust (which I believe is rounded, anyway).

There does seem to be a lot of 'scatter', particularly on the direction graphs. If the vane is moving the airflow must be causing it to turn. I would suggest that a two storey house 30 feet away to the SW (prevailing at the moment) would be quite a source of turbulence. The hedge may contribute too....

My reading of the Wiki was that only 'short date format' is required by Cumulus and the long date on the main Cumulus screen is probably hard coded from that - (?)

Started today at 996.7 currently 961.7mb and still falling rapidly. Largest drop 4.75mb/hr.

I'm a relative newcomer to Davis equipment but I'm surprised at how much rotor vibration can be felt on mounting tube. Is any allowance made for balancing during or after manufacture?
