... quite likely I've already read the original so won't see your edited version. The problem is caused because you have your PC set to suspend/sleep/hibernate. You need to turn off that setting, or make sure that you close Cumulus before your PC suspends.

... of software that puts the pc in hibernation and wakes up after some hours.is there a way to make cumulus to autostart after hibernation? If it hibernates then Cumulus will still be running when it resumes. What you would need to do is: stop Cumulus, hibernate, wait..., resume, restart Cumulus.

I found it best to set my power to "High Performance," which disables standby/hibernate, then go into "Change plan settings," "Change advanced power settings," and set "Display" to 20 minutes, "Processor power state" ...

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. Basically, you can't let your PC go into any form of 'standby/hibernate' mode while Cumulus is running, i.e. you need to make sure your power options are set appropriately. I found it best to set my power to "High Performance," ...

Thanks to my IT friend, I have gone into Windows 7 Control Panel and turned off the PC's "hibernate/standby" setting and have also done the same with com3.
Thought it might be helpful if I included my Station settings.
