Re: Cumulus keeps freezing up

Ok, thanks. WhT do mean my PC is suspending? Do you mean after a designated time it kind of goes into a sleep or hibernate mode? I thought As long as I leave it on, that any open software would continue to run in the background. Yes, in the power options, you have it set to turn ...

Re: Data transmission without computer

If you do that Cumulus will be unable to write data to the relevant files. The Help and the advice from Steve is to never let the computer suspend or hibernate in any way otherwise Cumulus will not function correctly.

... temp and min pressure. The diags files show that from 02h00 this morning, on every hour to 05h00, Cumulus has reset itself. My PC is set not to hibernate or sleep, and my archive interval is 5 minutes, as I remember. Hope some light can be shed on this problem.

Re: Downloading data after sleep or hibernate NOK on 1.9.3

Yes, that's how it works, and it has always been this way. You can't allow your PC to sleep while Cumulus is running. This is made clear in the readme.txt, and there is also a FAQ.

Downloading data after sleep or hibernate NOK on 1.9.3

... using LaCrosse WS2350 and Windows 7 and with the latest version of Cumulus, 1.9.3 build 1059, downloading data doesn't work after system sleep or hibernate. If I close Cumulus before sleep / hibernate downloading works but not if Cumulus is open all the time. This used to work on 1.9.2 before ...

Can you confirm that you're not allowing your PC to sleep/hibernate? If you're not, please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

Attempting a hibernate or suspend on one of my machines tends to get the RAID array out of sync, so it's probably just as well. The device ...
