Re: loose datas in the middle of the month
... thread, I'll take a look. But it's possible the diags file has been overwritten by now. Make sure you are not allowing your PC to sleep/standby/hibernate while Cumulus is running, and make sure you do not have any USB power savings enabled.

Be aware that zero readings can be caused by 'sleep' - see http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_computer_hibernated.2Fsuspended.2C_and_I_lost_data.2Fmy_graphs_.27flat-lined.27 You know I had a feeling it might be something like that but I thought that "catch up" might ...

Re: Lost Data after shutdown
Thanks Steve
It is version 1.9.4 (1085). I had got it wrong.
I would never use suspend or hibernate but it was part of a power plan on the laptop that got changed by mistake.
I will update at same time
John

Re: Lost Data after shutdown
You will need to 'rewind'. The easiest way is to use a set of the backup files. Find the daily backup folder from just before your PC hibernated, and copy the files into your data folder (with Cumulus stopped), then start Cumulus up again. There may not be daily backups in 1.9.3, it's very ...

Re: Cumulus (latest) stopped updating APRS (findu.com)
You're allowing Windows to suspend/sleep/hibernate: 7/22/2014 18:46:52.115 : Windows SUSPEND broadcast received When that happens, Cumulus will stop running (and obviously stop updating CWOP), but even when you resume from sleep, it may not resume ...

Re: Cumulus keeps freezing up
Steve, have you thought about Cumulus actively preventing Windows going to sleep/hibernate mode? Presumably so, but maybe make it an option, default enabled ;) I would rather not have Cumulus tinkering with any system settings (e.g. actively turning off any sleep ...

Re: Cumulus keeps freezing up
Ok, thanks. WhT do mean my PC is suspending? Do you mean after a designated time it kind of goes into a sleep or hibernate mode? I thought As long as I leave it on, that any open software would continue to run in the background. I guess I need to go into settings and tell it to ...
