Re: Regional networks [netID]-mesomap.php now has Google map

That looks very good, Ken. I'd like to use it on my site, but when I tried to join the NEWN a year or two ago no one ever even responded to my request. Have things changed in New England? If so, I'll give it another try. It looks like there are only two stations in Maine. I'm near Bangor. Thanks, --...

Re: Cumulus RealTimeLog Rotate Script (PHP)

Kind of late responding...but I run this script in a cron job on my Linux server to trim realtime.log #!/bin/bash cat /var/www/html/realtime.log > /var/www/html/realtime.tmp sleep 5 rm -f /var/www/html/realtime.log tail -qn 675 /var/www/html/realtime.tmp > /var/www/html/realtime.log rm -f /var/www/h...

@beteljuice:

Yes, you have one month to roll the computer back to the previous operating system. Don't delete the hidden windows.old folder! ;)

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Jachym: I've installed your new 1.1 update at http://www.kpw3.com/meteo I like the new banner a lot. With my configuration I still was not happy with the way the gauges on live.php were scaling: OriginalScaling.PNG Here are the settings in config.php: ( I never have a constant wind speed over 20 MPH...

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Jachym, First, thanks for letting me know what file the gauge settings are in, and second thanks very much for all your extraordinary work on the meteo templates. You who insists he is not a programmer! ;) I've change the scaling on all the gauges on live.php to what I believe will be more appropria...

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Yes, it is. :) I finally worked it out. I take readings from Cumulus every 60 seconds, so my log files reflect that frequency. On average they are over 40,000 lines long. I truncated one log to 50 lines or so, then imported that into Meteo. It worked perfectly. I then reasoned that I might not have ...

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Yes, that's the way I have config.php set. Just going over it again now. The real problem is that the database contains nothing but NULL in the "P" column. database.png Presumably I am doing something wrong during the import data process because that value just does not appear anywhere--not even in ...

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Hi Paul: Yes, I had uploaded all of it last night. I deleted it all today while I was editing the /update/cumulus.php file to see if I could get the pressure field to populate from realtime.txt. In realtime.txt the pressure field is 10th in the array, it is the same in update/cumulus.php but I still...

Re: Impressive template from Jachym for Cumulus

Hi Guys: I spent about three hours last night installing these templates. Jachym really did a nice job on them. http://www.kpw3.com/meteo/ I have three-years worth of Cumulus log files that I imported, but try as I might I can not map the barometric pressure readings into MySql using the Meteo Templ...

Re: advforecast2.php V4.00 support for NWS dual-image icons

Hmmmmm...I thought, wrongly perhaps, that this setting on your update page would include them in the zip file: update.PNG I chose June 1st because I had a few other scripts that were also out of date. Is there a direct link to saratoga-icons2.zip? Sorry, I must have missed it. --K UPDATE: Ok they ar...

Re: advforecast2.php V4.00 support for NWS dual-image icons

Sorry about the multiple replies...

Assuming the icons are 55x58 I've resized and renamed the NWS hz.png file to hz.jpg:
hz.jpg
Any reason this won't work with your new scripts, Ken?

Thanks again,

Re: advforecast2.php V4.00 support for NWS dual-image icons

Information about the new icons is here:
http://www.weather.gov/forecast-icons
I found hz.png, but no hz.jpg.

Photoshop time, perhaps?
