Barometer Gauge Issue

I really like these gauges. Thanks for making them for us! The only issue I am having though is with the barometer gauge. The barometer gauge shows the correct reading in inHg that Cumulus shows at the time of the website update. However, if I click on hPa or mb, the reading is lower than it should ...

Re: Probkens with Weatherwise

I guess I got lucky because my Weatherwise WS2080-PC has been working flawlessly. I agree that their customer service department needs a major kick in the pants. If you want to get rid of your faulty Weatherwise equipment, please send me a PM.

Re: A More Precise Way To Set The Barometer

So what do you do when your source is at a much higher or lower elevation than where your station is installed at? Easy. You go to the source! A barometer is also an altimeter so setting it at the same elevation as the source will make it adjust itself to a lower reading if you are at a higher altit...

A More Precise Way To Set The Barometer

This is mainly geared towards USA and other users of the Imperial system of inches and feet and such. I was having a heck of a time getting my barometer set on my Weatherwise WS-2080PC using inhg. I am between two small municipal airports with AWOS equipment reporting to NOAA. On a calm day where bo...

Re: Problems with Weatherwise

I ordered a 2080 from them. Apparently they have a warehouse/order fulfillment center somewhere in Arkansas. I had a smug reply e-mail about the 2080 from Ambient so I decided to go with Weatherwise. Weatherwise is slow answering e-mails. EDIT... I received my tracking information and my unit is shi...

Re: No Data Transmitter / Receiver Issue

I am positive I never put the batteries in backwards. I think the transmitter was just plain old defective.

I went ahead and ordered this as a replacement...

Re: No Data Transmitter / Receiver Issue

This unit is being RMA'd back to the seller. Does anyone know of companies in the USA that sell similar or identical units that utilize 433 MHz? I have found Ambient Weather and Weather Wise . I see there is a WS-2080, but I hate the orange or green labels used on the display. I like the layout of t...

Re: No Data Transmitter / Receiver Issue

I am sure the transmitter is bad. It is 433 MHz USA. Might anyone have links to a supplier who sells these so I can get a replacement? I wonder if I could get one direct from Dr. Tech or Fine Offset?

No Data Transmitter / Receiver Issue

Hello. I just bought a Dr. Tech WH1080PC Weather Station. I hooked everything up two days ago. I was receiving data on the station display but it was intermittent. I tried 1.5v alkalines and 1.2v NiMH rechargeables in both the transmitter and display. Now I am no longer getting any data to display. ...
