Re: Replacing temp sensor/transmitter

A side note to this....In addition to this sensor malfunctioning, my web service also is having issues....Since the 1st week of July, it has been very "unstable". They installed a new server, which has proven to be "contentious" at best. It does not allow FTP updates on a regular...

Re: Replacing temp sensor/transmitter

Allycat, thanks for that info.....Right now, I have all readings except temp. I took apart the transmitter, cleaned out some dust/debris, put it back together and it seemed to be working. Didn't notice any moisture anywhere. After about 15 minutes the temp sensor stopped and has not reported a temp ...

Replacing temp sensor/transmitter

I had some crazy spikes in temp yesterday. IE:=129.4f and -29f. Replaced the batteries in the transmitter. Still continued with 5-8 degree swings in the temp in a 2-3 minute span. Suspect its the temp sensor inside the transmitter. Now I have no temp reading on the console, but do have humidity read...

Springtime in the Rockies!!!

Just to show how difficult a job our local NWS office in Pueblo,CO. has, today in its forecast area, it is dealing with the following conditions: Red Flag warnings, Dangerous Fire conditions, possible heavy rains with thunderstorms, snow mixed with rain and a Winter Storm Warning!! In my county/weat...

Re: Weather Icon Strip Missing

You'll have to download the latest version of that script. I had to do the same thing. The NWS/NOAA changed all their websites this week and the old script won't work. Its a bit involved to do it again, but you should get it working as before. I did. Go to this page and go to the bottom of the page ...

Re: advisory.php error

Thanks....I set it up once, over a year ago and of course I've forgotten exactly what I did. Based on your comment, it may have come from Carter Lake scripts. When I go to that page, the links to the scripts don't work. I may try your suggestion about your "atom-advisory.php script". This ...

advisory.php error

Today, the advisory.php stopped working for me. I noticed that the NWS page for my local NOAA service has a new look to it. Does that mean that something in the script needs to be edited? This file..http://www.crh.noaa.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=COZ081&warncounty=COC119...shows"page not fou...

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

Do not assume - that makes an Ass with U and ME. This is rubbish whichever way round the conversion is: if($tempunitnodeg != "C") $_apptemp = round(($_apptemp *9 /2) +32); The 'factor' is wrong to start with !!! You have simply crashed through the bit we need to check, then supplied conve...

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

I took the chance and "converted" the "C" temps in the script to "F", and it seems to have adjusted me from "Hot" to "Cold"... Her are my conversions: I also changed the "Language" file....changed "Cold" and "Uncomfortably Co...
