Re: Aircraft (planes, google loon etc) spotting.

Hi Kurt, I've checking your site several times daily and am really impressed. I'm hoping when I get up and running that my results will be as good. I'm not sure when I'll receive my R820T. Despite having ordered it from Amazon.ca (Canada), I discovered that it was shipped from California via USPS. A...

Re: Aircraft (planes, google loon etc) spotting.

Hi Folks, Just stumbled across this post recently. As a retired air traffic controller I was/am intrigued. Ordered a R820T dongle from Amazon which is scheduled for delivery mid-week. This afternoon I assembled the antenna referred to in NOBGS's post, and only on completion realized what Beeman was ...

Re: What happened??

Ken, that certainly did the trick. I think I know where the wheels fell off. I did have the correct setting earlier, but subsequently uploaded an earlier version of settings.php after I had made some other change. Too many versions floating around...must do a clean up! Thanks and best regards...

What happened??

Several days ago I decided to have a go at Saratoga templates. Everything appeared to be set up correctly, and I was quite pleased with the result. Thanks for the great work Ken!. This morning however I noticed that the gizmo is showing "Updated: 31/12/1969 12:24" . The hour/mins are corre...

Re: strange behavior ws-1081

I had a similar experience about a year ago. I suggest you check the sensor wire connections where they plug into the phone jacks on the various sensors. After cleaning, and reconnecting, I sprayed some silicon sealer around each jack and all is been OK since.

Re: 2014 Greatest Temperature Range

How about this for a temperature change in about 40 hours? Highest Temperature 27.8 °C 2:02 PM on 14 April Lowest Temperature -8.3 °C 6:25 AM on 16 April Precipitation on April 15 started with rain, changed briefly to freezing rain, followed by snow grains and then snow. Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Ahhhh....I wondered if that was the reason. I'll you in this part of Canada 2014 winter should include March and April. We have had one of the coldest winters in about 20 years and approximately 250 cm of snow. Most of the snow is still with us, altho' it has started to recede somewhat. Oh well, ano...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

I finally summoned the courage to try my hand at PHP and tackled beteljuice's "yet another dayfile reader". Thanks beteljuice for all your effort in putting it together, including the dreaded CSS. As you folks in the UK say "it works a treat"! I do have one question howeve...

Re: Cumulus User Map

Thanks Steve ......as an aside I think you may not currently have as much snow on the ground as we have  http://ottawa.weatherstats.ca/charts/snow-1year.html but then again not sure I could hack the winds that you get. Thanks for the great software and I look forward to Cumulus for Pi. Cheers
