Re: Extra Sensor(s) Problem

Steve,
As always, thanks so much for your quick and accurate response. I did not see the "ExtraLog201407.txt" file and was using the "Jul14log.txt" file. All is good now. Next I will attempt the WeatherLink to Cumulus converter.
Thanks Again

Extra Sensor(s) Problem

I am using 2 extra sensors with my VP2 to monitor the lake and a pond water temperatures. Both temps are displaying correctly under View => Extra Data but View => Extra Data Log is all screwed up. In the Extra Data Log Viewer, Extra Temp 1 & 2 have incorrect data and Temp 3 has data which it shouldn...

Re: Edit rain rate problem?

Thanks Steve,
That did it (I hope), except, what is "monthlyalltime.ini"?
I'm running 1.9.2 build 1026.

Thanks Again,

George

Edit rain rate problem?

Hello,
We had sleet yesterday which built up in Davis VP2 rain bucket then rain today which melted yesterday's sleet and caused a huge "Rain Rate". How can I completely remove this erroneous number and will that restore the previous, correct number?
Thank You

Donation

Steve, I try to make a small donation each year as either "rental" or "time payment" for Cumulus. I was not successful this year - sorry. I tried to use Paypal but it insisted on a direct withdrawal rather than a charge to my credit card (which is unacceptable to me). Next, I tried a credit card don...

Moving Cumulus ?

Hello All! I have read and understand the Wiki, "Moving cumulus". My situation is just enough different that I want to confirm the Wiki steps will work before trying. I have a primary VP2 and a primary Weather computer with cumulus running on it since 04/2009. I have since added a second VP2 which p...

Dayfile.txt outlyers

Steve, I think "Dayfile.txt" is a wonderful addition to Cumulus. Thank you. There is a modification to that which would be very benificial to me, and maybe others. I have been running Cumulus since January '09 and I am sure there are some "outlyers" in my records. Would it be reasonable to ask that ...

Re: Wunderground Catch Up / Vue / Cumulus

Thanks Ray,
Worked great. Had some concerns as it dropped out every 12 to 24 hrs but could never have gotten it done otherwise. Took around an hour to catch up 6 days. If it wouldn't have hung, it probably would not have been a 10 minute job.
Thanks again.

Re: Wunderground Catch Up / Vue / Cumulus

Ray,

Running VP2's. Don't "use" WL so I just run it along with the rest with VVP. Will muddle along and see what works.

Thanks,

George

Re: Wunderground Catch Up / Vue / Cumulus

Ray,

I don't have an "Expansion_Modules" folder in the WeatherLink (5.8.1) tree. Do I create one under "WeatherLink"?

Ray,

I went out and just noticed your detailed reply. Thank you so much (before I try it and if I have problems, I'll buzz you later).

Thanks again,

Re: Wunderground Catch Up / Vue / Cumulus

Ray,
Within the past two weeks, I have had a major problem uploading to wunderground that caused me to lose 2 days of data that I would like to insert.

Would you amplify the method you are referring to RE: WL, PLEASE!

TIA

George

Re: weather underground problem

After 2 weeks of problems with WU, I found my problem. I thought, assumed, the station ID would tie with the password. Not true. The password ties with the email address. Therefore, if you have multiple stations (IDs) reporting to 1 email address, you may only have 1 password. Caused me a lot of gri...

Re: Upload Problem

Steve,
Once again, thanks for solving my problem. The new Cumulus has been running for almost 24 hours and has been stopped and restarted a couple of times. It's good!
