Re: Question aboute MySQL and WU-Graphs
Ok. But your data is from wunderground or from a mySQL database Steve? And if is from a mySQL database how could you do it? Can you share your method? Since whenever I use Cumulus software (for me is a great software) and will not be now that I'm going to change. And Ray with the "ImportCumulus...

Question aboute MySQL and WU-Graphs
Anyone here managed to use the WU-Graphs with a MySQL database using Cumulus files? I have been trying to contact the author of the WU-Charts, but he seems to have left this project... at least he did not answer me, and some time ago that he does not appear in the usual places Is that graphs that ar...

Re: Problems with ftp conection
Thanks Steve! Your response only confirm one thing, the problem is either the server or from my internet operator. Regarding the misconfiguration in my Cumulus internet settings, I already know what it is and I already fix it! ;). Because of the ftp error, thought it could be the fact that the cumul...

Problems with ftp conection
Hi there Steve, if you are so kind need your help in the following: Since a few days ago I have been having problems with my FTP connection, but I do not change nothing. I thought it was a server problem and a few minute ago I called the web hosting company (godaddy). They told me that the problem i...

Re: Highcharts Graphs
Manuel, sure it is possible to MySQL. My " Historic Graphs " are all driven from MySQL using a table built from the Cumulus Dayfile (using ImportCumulusFile.php). Now you are going to ask 'how do I do that?' Arghhh! I'm working on it George - still fiddling now and again, but time.....

Re: Highcharts Graphs
Today's tinkering... My initial stab at putting some Highcharts graphs together. I have just plonked them in my existing page whilst I figure out a better date range selection mechanism. These are grabing the data via ajax and PHP generated JSON data from a MySQL database on my creaky old laptop ou...

Re: Monthly Record Graphs
I am afraid mine doesn't work with MySQL, it works with the data produced via Cumulus into php webtags. If you don't mind me saying so I think as far as monthly records are concerned MySQL would be a bit of an overkell as the data once established doesn't change very muc and is almost static. Happy...

Re: Monthly Record Graphs
With the inclusion on the Monthly Records in V1.9.3 of Cumulus and inspired by Mark Crossley to make more of Highcharts (it is a very good piece of graphing software especially as it's free), I bought a very good book (Learning Highcharts) and I have now put all the Monthly Records in graph format....

Re: Question about MySQL
Hi, The short answer is yes. One method is to use the toolbox: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Toolbox and the import cumulus file: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/ImportCumulusFile, which is what I do. Using these tools I upload both the dayfile and monthly log file shortly after midnight. I use the dat...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates
Hi BCJKiwi! Great work, thank you very much. Can you tell me which weather forecasts I have duplicated? Some of the weather forecasts that you have and I had not, based on what Mark told us, they have no reason to exist since they are not under the davis dll file used by Cumulus. But just in case, I...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates
@ actionman, Would you be able to provide your translation(s) for others to use/ Thanks Sure :) . Here is the translation into Portuguese: # # vpforecast in ajax-dashboard.php # langlookup|Clearing and cooler|Diminuição da nebulosidade e descida de temperatura| langlookup|Clearing, cooler and windy...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates
Ohh yes Ok. I had this string deleted from my "language-LL.txt" file and I do not know why... :? Thanks again BCJKiwi! Already corrected, so now I have the weather forecasts completely translated. :D What would be really interesting, was if we could make these translations using only the 5...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates
Hi :) @BCJKiwi, I read Mark's post, but did not understand the totality of his message, mainly due to lack of programming bases. But I can at least serve as a tester, and I'm reporting what works and what does not. :) Well after several fixes, mostly my mistakes when copying phrases, here is ...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates
Another progress ... If I remove the ".", the code makes the translation. If I put them on, do not. This is in the "language-LL.txt" file. example: Does the translation langlookup|Mostly clear and cooler|Céu geralmente limpo e descida de temperatura| langlookup|Mostly clear and w...
