Re: Block Issue

ZB-Block has a list of ISPs that are know to be "spammer tolerant" and all access from those ISPs is blocked. You can switch this off - or amend the lists - the lists are generated from the Spamhaus and possibly others. Don't feel singled out, most of those ISPs are outside the EU, though some EU co...

Serial, or USB connection?

Check task manager for another copy of Cumulus running in the background.

I hadn't picked up that the MySQL insert was failing, but realized it can be detected by the absence of the message "MySQL: 1 rows were affected". I presume that's how you noticed the problem?
Well, that and the MySQL connection failed message ;)

Re: FTP feed for web site

Did you try my second suggestion?

The easy way to check is to log in using an FTP client and see which folder it puts you in by default. You then work out the required path from there.

Re: FTP feed for web site

It cannot upload anything from what I can see, the path is most likely wrong...
/home/jeffbart/public_html/

If that still looks right, then I'd try it without the leading slash.
home/jeffbart/public_html/

Then...
public_html/

Re: FTP feed for web site

Yes, it deletes the file on the FTP then uploads the new version with the same name. You don't want to use that option unless you really have to.

Re: SUN: Siting a Webcam

If pointing south is one option to accept that you will eventually get some sun damage (fading of colour, or worse) to the camera and so buy a cheaper one that you replace more often?

Re: No monthly log entry made at end of day

I think I'll make the SQL calls asynchronous - some are done before the EOD processing and the default call is in the middle of it.

Re: No monthly log entry made at end of day

OK, so the problem *is* that the rollover is taking longer than one minute. Up to the 6th, everything was OK. On the 6th the insert into the MySQL failed but took 40 seconds to fail, so the EOD processing then continued and ended within the minute. But from the 7th onwards the MySQL insert is taking...

Re: No monthly log entry made at end of day

First thing is for me to start looking into it. But meantime could you capture an MXdiags log over the rollover period with debug logging switch on please?

Edit: Actually I can see there may be a problem *if* your end of day processing takes longer than 1 minute.

Re: Installation

You could try removing the boost:{...} section completely. That means the GPU and pre-caching will be turned off. I cannot find any of my systems where the graph doesn't work to test this against :(
With both of those off, it still renders pretty quickly on my phone.

Re: Download archived records from WeatherLink.com, two issues

There are a couple of "rate limits" imposed on weatherlink.com downloads... 300 API calls per hour 10 API calls per second You probably hit the 300 in a hour which is roughly a years worth of data (as some of the first downloads would have been outside the rolling 1 hour window). This is a useful me...
