Re: Cumulus 1.8.2 beta available (bug fixes)

I've uploaded another build to:

http://www.nybbles.co.uk/downloads/beta ... sSetup.exe

This hopefully fixes the 'start/stop after midnight' problem.

Re: Cumulus 1.8.2 beta available (bug fixes)

- Extra day rollover at start up when closing and starting again between midnight and 1 am (Fine Offset) It seems my attempt at fixing this was not completely successful. I should have another fix shortly, in the meantime I suggest that you try to avoid closing down or starting up between midnight ...

Re: 1.8.2 beta no yesterday values after restart

Actually, I did spot a bug in this area (for VP/VP2 users only) in the beta and uploaded a fixed version shortly afterwards. I wasn't expecting anyone with a VP to download the beta so I didn't mention it. So - when did you download it, exactly?

Re: 1.8.2 beta no yesterday values after restart

Looking at your website, some of the 'today' values are clearly for yesterday, so it hasn't done the day rollover for the 14th. Was this a restart after being stopped overnight, or just stopping and starting again shortly afterwards? What is the date in the yesterday.ini file? Could you send me the ...

Re: Cumulus Server Sided JpGraph Graphs

Kevin - it's not Cpanel unfortunately, it's their own creation.

I'll look into doing it via SSH for Paul.

Edit - done. Seems to be running every minute now.

Re: Software setup will not accept west longitude

This does ring a bell from some time ago, I don't know why you're seeing it.

A workaround would be to put it in as East, then stop Cumulus and edit the cumulus.ini file. You'll see the latitude in there as a number and as text, edit them both to correct them, and restart Cumulus.

That '1 minute' setting means at 1 minute past the hour. You can select multiple minutes from 0 to 59, but you can't select all of them.

Re: Cumulus Server Sided JpGraph Graphs

Your cron job shows up in my control panel. I have set it to every 10 minutes, that seems to be the most frequent it can be :( I don't know if this is any use for the intended purpose Edit: If this is just a control panel limitation, then you could get around it by setting it up from an SSH login (P...

Re: Cumulus Server Sided JpGraph Graphs

So you want me to do a right click and add the number 755 or 777 ? I don't think you need to. There's a 20:00 entry now, I think the cron job is working, but once an hour. Can you check the time settings to see if you can fix that? Edit: Hold on, I think I fixed it for you :) Edit again: No, I didn...

Re: Cumulus Server Sided JpGraph Graphs

That's interesting, I didn't cause that entry at 19:00, maybe the cron job is only executing once an hour...

Re: Cumulus Server Sided JpGraph Graphs

We set up a cron job using the hosting provider's control panel, but it doesn't seem to be calling the script. I manually added a few entries by invoking the script from a browser, but we were getting errors (something about an array being expected). I looked at the baro.php script and realised that...

Ah, but those pennies add up :)

I've started turning mine off overnight, saves me 20p per day, that's over £70 a year.
