Re: Intermittent FTP Timeout Errors upload to my Website

Steve I contacted my ISP and here is there comment on the issue. I've tried changing the active/passive options with not change as far as I can see. "Hello Geoffrey Thank you for your ticket. As this [CUMULUS] is third party software I'm afraid we can only advise. I have spoken with our engineers an...

Intermittent FTP Timeout Errors upload to my Website

This started about a week ago, frequent "Timeout Errors" reported. I've always had a few but now they are coming all through the day. The station is updated every two minutes at the moment. 15/07/2015 10:07:22 : FTP Connect Timeout 15/07/2015 10:07:22 : FTP Connect Error, Error code = 426 15/07/2015...

My wife hit me!

.................... went to Tesco today and persuaded "She who must be obeyed" that we should use the new scanning system and have a go at their DIY shopping, where you scan the items as you put them in your trolley and check out yourself . I thought it was great fun letting her know in a nice loud...

water01 wrote:Well I use ConquerCam after I got fed up with YawCam failing on me http://www.theill.com/conquercam/

I can recommend it. It is not free but it is only $19.95.
Thanks, I've downloaded it and set it up. Will try it out for the 30 day test period. Certainly simpler than Yawcam to get running...

Looking for an alternative to YAWCAM!

Yawcam will no longer start on my PC. It is telling me it needs Java 1.7 not the 1.8 I now have installed. Also I understand it is no longer being developed.

So any suggestions for an alternative?

Re: "Blocky" Pressure Graph

It's the stated specification of the pressure sensor - it can only ever be a whole number of mb. The graph reflects that. I really don't like the 'blocky' look of the pressure reading, though I quite understand the reason for it. Perhaps when the charts are next looked at - some way of smoothing it...

So it is a 'feature' of the station then?

"Blocky" Pressure Graph

Any idea why my pressure graph is looking so blocky as compared with temperature for example?

UV Index

Perhaps I'm being a bit thinck, but I've configured my new WMR200 station. I can find the graph for the added UV sensor, but should there not be a reading of the main Cumulus screen?

Can't believe it would be that easy! ........... thanks Steve!
