Looking for an alternative to YAWCAM!

Yawcam will no longer start on my PC. It is telling me it needs Java 1.7 not the 1.8 I now have installed. Also I understand it is no longer being developed.

So any suggestions for an alternative?

    Re: "Blocky" Pressure Graph

It's the stated specification of the pressure sensor - it can only ever be a whole number of mb. The graph reflects that. I really don't like the 'blocky' look of the pressure reading, though I quite understand the reason for it. Perhaps when the charts are next looked at - some way of smoothing it...

So it is a 'feature' of the station then?

    "Blocky" Pressure Graph

Any idea why my pressure graph is looking so blocky as compared with temperature for example?

    UV Index

Perhaps I'm being a bit thinck, but I've configured my new WMR200 station. I can find the graph for the added UV sensor, but should there not be a reading of the main Cumulus screen?

Can't believe it would be that easy! ........... thanks Steve!

Procedure for changing weathers stations with Cumulus

I take delivery of an Oregon WRM200 on Monday to replace my increasingly unreliable Watson Weather Station W-8681 that has been in use since June 2009. Any tips or advice on a seamless transfer from the Watson to the Oregon using Cumulus?

Question to WRM88 or WRM200 Users!

Can you site the wind sensor remotely from the rain monitor, temperature monitor and wireless data transmitter? I'm looking to mount the wind sensor some 15 to 20 feet away from and above the remaining sensors. I am able to do this with my current (but now defunct) Fine Offset, via an extension cable.

Now that's odd. After replacing the batteries yesterday, checking all for the connections etc rtc.... and deciding the dam thing was dead. I come home just now to find it back online!!!
