    Re: How to add rainfall?

Steve I've a similar problem. Since I set up my Watson Weather Station W-8681 in May I have had a couple of problems. I have two extreme readings I would like to edit out of the record. Both of which show up on my "Records" page. 1: Lowest Pressure (sl) -8985.3 mb at 11:13 PM on 12 May 2009 2: Highe...

    Rain Gauge

I remain suspicious of the readings from my rain gauge. Friday, for example, while I was mowing the lawn in the sunshine my rain guage recorded a phantom heavy shower.......... I read on Cumulus that the gauge is prone to phantom reading if wobbled or knocked, and at one point during the mowing I di...

Please help me end my "pressure" confusion!

Help me clear my muddled thinking on pressure readingss. I'm still a bit confused about this pressure issue - absolute and relative. As I understand it, absolute is the actual reading at your site (as effected by elevation) while the relative setting is a mean sea-level reading adjusted for height. ...

    Another PWS Question?

Since had my weather station last week the questions seem to come thick and fast. This one is a further query about uploading data to PWS. I run my PC link to the weather station from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night. So for the night hours the data is uploaded in the morning. This...

    Re: Uploading data to PWS

Oh! What an idiot I am! :?

In the Internet Config PWS section I put my PWS login username not the name of my station.................

the first batch of data has now been uploaded.

PS Dare I suggest this might be made clearer the next time Cumulus gets a facelift.

    Uploading data to PWS

I've registered my Weather Station with PWS http://www.pwsweather.com/obs/SPITTAL.html and filled in the appropriate section in the Internet Configuration section of Cumulus but PWS still is not displaying my data after 12 hours. Any suggestion how I troubleshoot this situation. For example how can ...

Where does Cumulus store its Data File in Windows XP

I've decided to use another PC to download and process my data. Since setting up my station it has been on a vista machine. I know where the data files are that I need to copy over to the Windows XP machine that will in future process and store my data. Obviously I need to move the Vista data to the...

    Running Cumulus on a network

Any tips or advice on running Cumulus on a network. It is only set up on one computer at the moment, but we would like to access the data from a copy of Cumulus on the other two machine. Great software - by the way - only set it up this week as my Watson W-8681 arrived from Maplin on Wednesday. Geof...
