Re: New Record? Post here.
15 September I had a 30.4 degrees at 53,2 degrees North at 17h15. That is pretty extreme. At the same time in the South of the Netherlands a 35.2 degrees was measured. Which had never occurred since start of measurement (120 years) Ah but you’re on continental Europe. Warm air to the British Isles ...

A new maximum temperature for September for this station. 28.7C. Not bad for 53.5 degrees north!

Re: Exciting Event Today
NavyGuy, it might be cloudy and damp but we don’t get wildfires so I’ll take U.K. weather every time. I lived 15 miles north of Sydney. Lovely climate but dad hated the humidity so hence our return to Britain. I often wonder how my life would have turned out had I stayed. I’ll never know but I’m hap...

I'm sure CumulusX supports that. Heck, even Cumulus1 does. I also upload to these sites... www.iiccp.co.uk/stati...

Re: Exciting Event Today
No link to any weather website??? What’s the point of running a weather station if you don’t share it with the world?

Re: Inside temp problem?
Excellent!
Two great minds agree. Maybe this might help others with the problem should their capacitor fail.

Re: Inside temp problem?
Hi John,
It's the original logger from 2009 - the one before the green dot was added. Your explanation sounds very plausible. Too much of a coincidence otherwise.
@ColigWx, given John has explained the probable cause I'm not sure Davis would be bothered.

Re: Inside temp problem?
Yesterday around noon my anemometer was repaired. The supercapacitor in the transmitter was also replaced and a new backup battery fitted. Look at the inside temp graph. The problem has disappeared. Anyone care to offer an explanation? I'm baffled. Clearly linked to the above problem but how? Inside...

Re: Davis anemometer transmitter problems
A busy day. My mate first swapped out the old anemometer cartridge for the new one. There didn’t appear to be much dirt inside it but he said the new cartridge is a different design to the one it replaced so maybe Davis found a flaw and fixed it. The old cartridge still appears serviceable after a c...

Re: Relocation of anemometer - feasible?
Thanks Terry. Clearly it does the job. The Davis anemometer is slightly larger but not so much it will be a problem. Lovely weather!
