Hi Steve,
For some reason, even though I have created and dragged a CumulusMX.exe shortcut into my Startup folder, CumulusMX will not start on startup.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: change
The gauges in the user interface, you mean? I'm probably not sending the cloud base unit in the web sockets data, I'll investigate and fix it in the next build. Although really I'd prefer it if the cloud base gauge wasn't on there at all. Yes, in the user interface, any changes I make do not apply ...

Re: change
I tried this on my config, but it won't set the cloud base on the gauges page to meters.steve wrote:What did you do to try to change it? At the moment, the only way to do it is to stop MX, edit Cumulus.ini, and change the CloudBaseInFeet value to 0:

Re: Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
Why didn't somebody who got an A in ICT and is doing an IT apprenticeship think of this? Thank you again.
All fixed.

Re: Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
Ah, I tried my PC IP but still no luck, however if I access it via the MX PC either via it's IP or localhost it works.

Re: Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
I don't think BT's routers will allow that, I haven't seen it anywhere. Just curious as to why localhost won't work though. That is strange.

Re: Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
Yes, I can't seem to make it public which is probably a good thing. However, I'd just like to ask why when I go to http://localhost:8998 on my other PC, why I cannot access the UI? Any ideas?
I forgot to say, you've done a cracking job on Cumulus MX. It was well worth the wait.

Re: Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
Thanks, Steve. I understand this. I would never give out a public IP address to anyone, I was just thinking it would be a good idea for remote working.

Re: Graphs not displaying on web site
This is interesting. I've just checked the server again and the files are all of sudden now present but the trends page is still only showing a white box, however when I click on "Sun Hours" it displays the outline of the graph but no data is present. Is it because I have UTF-8 selected by...

Is It Possible To Make Cumulus MX Public?
Hi there,
Is it possible to make the Cumulus MX local interface public? I just tried to portforward the port 8998 on my local IP address through my BT Home Hub 5 and I could not seem to access it through my public IP. Is this because it is only a local server?
Many thanks.

I can't see anything obvious to do with those files you stated, but here are a few uploads:

Re: Graphs not displaying on web site
Hi steve, Thanks for your reply. I understand your annoyance at creating a new account, but I hope to prove that I have learnt to be less forceful and argumentative. :) I can confirm that the "Include graph data files" checkbox is checked in the Cumulus MX settings and yes you are correct,...

Graphs not displaying on web site
Hi,
I have just installed Cumulus MX and the graphs aren't loading in to my website. I have the standard files/images ticked and FTP passive mode on but the graphs do not load in.
Here is my website page: http://newton-poppleford-weather.co.uk/trends.htm
Many thanks in advance.
