Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh - Version 1.7

Update Available - Version 1.7 - 16.-03.2017 I had a request form one user to add the CumulusMX runtine into the weatherstation data output. For this reason, you can download Version 1.7 from the first page ----> CumulusMX Runtime: X days XX hours XX minutes XX seconds http://sandaysoft.com/forum/d...

Are yo...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh

Alternatively you can create this file into the /tmp folder by using this command echo "{\"temp\":{\"units\":\"C\",\"decimals\":1},\"wind\":{\"units\":\"km/h\",\"decimals\":0},\"rain\":{\"units\":\"mm\",\"decimals\":1},\"press\":{\"units\":\"hPa\",\"decimals\":1},\"hum\":{\"decimals\":0},\"uv\":{\"d...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh

I am not sure, but when Steve writes: " I changed MX some time ago to create the json graph files in the web directory " maybe this means, that when you save the config one more time now, this file will be (re)created in the /web directory ? The file gets re-created every time MX does a web update,...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh

Hello Megahv999 I found this in another topic which is related to the same problem Cumulusnow.sh is looking for graphconfig.json in the CumulusMX directory. It is however in the directory CumulusMX / web. Yes, I changed MX some time ago to create the json graph files in the web directory. So Steve c...

Re: RaspberryPi: CumulusMX init.d System Startup Script

Hello Novy, I am not sure, but when I read all your posts, it looks like, that you did not fully understood some things. When you start with linux, it is much more complicated then Windows....so let me give you a summary. You installed CumulusMX and it is working when you start it manually. you have...

Re: RaspberryPi: CumulusMX init.d System Startup Script

I found something strange :groan: in the code of cumulusmx.sh which prevented the /etc/init.d/cumulusmx startup script to start cumulusmx.sh successfully, if the CumulusMX folder was installed on a USB Stick/External Drive. :ugeek: I can not explain, but a command failed for any reason when CumulusM...

Re: RaspberryPi: CumulusMX init.d System Startup Script

[I believe running 'update-rc.d cumulusmx defaults', then running 'update-rc.d cumulusmx enable' solved that issue. OKay, this makes sense and I am gladf to hear that there was one person who solved the problem this way. I am not 100% but I have also the feeling that form time to time the ownership...
