Re: Weathercloud outage.

I didn't get any notification and my Weathercloud data seems to be up to date, but did have intermittent loss of internet access in the morning hours from about 6:00 to 10:15 am our time (UTC -4) and Cumulus was not able to FTP all 5-min updates. All good now.

Enjoy,
Paul

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

The DOS screen is as shown below: It just sits there and stops! Do you mean it just stays on the DOS screen ending with Type Ctrl-C to terminate? or did the DOS window totally close/stop? Have you then minimized the DOS screen (not stop it) and then in a new browser window enter localhost:8998 ? En...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Need to backup a bit to get the correct current status and to get you running CumulusMX successfully.. 1. Are you running Cumulus1 successfully? 2. Have you actually unzipped the download and to where? - i.e. in the Download folder or in C:\CumulusMX Unzipping in the \download folder will be quite c...

Re: Cumulus and Oregen Scientific WMR 200

Looks like Cumulus shows the current date so presumably your PC has the correct date, but the popup message has 2007-02-15 after Downloading data message. I am not familiar with OS but does perhaps the console have an incorrect date?

Enjoy,

Re: New to forum

From your introduction post sounds like you already have Cumulus1 running so have gone through the basics. CumulusMX is a bit different but no more difficult. If you've forgotten on what needs to be uploaded to your website the Wiki will be very helpful, but basically - FTP the contents of \Cumulus\...

Re: New to forum

Hi brookr, If you have a Cumulus compatible weather station it should be quite simple. With Windows you can still use original Cumulus1, and also CumulusMX. With Raspberry PI you can use CumulusMX. Download either of the programs, and unzip. CumulusMX runs a bit different than Cumulus1. For CumulusM...

Re: Updated to 3089, worked briefly, no station updates received

I would suggest you follow the suggestion from the MXdiags error which repeats 1000s of times 2020-08-15 03:00:54.189 Error reading data from station - it may need resetting 2020-08-15 03:00:57.189 The operation has timed-out. There are numerous other errors as well but they could disappear if Cumul...

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX

Hi Steve, No need to wait to run CumulusMX as you can use the CU-HWS template now just by FTP all the unzipped folders and files to your website - i.e. http://the9libraries.org.uk/pws I presume http://the9libraries.org.uk/realtime.txt is from your Cumulus1. This existing realtime.txt can be used by ...

Re: Cumulus 1 vs MX

My first question is will Cum 1 completely go away? Not likely as it still works great, however there is no longer any updates or new features so it will stay as it is. Second question: how much better will MX be than Cum 1 for what I want to do (display weather parameters on my web site)? Cumulus1...

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX

Hi Cohort, It looks like you are already FTP realtime.txt to two locations http://the9libraries.org.uk/template/realtime.txt and http://the9libraries.org.uk/realtime.txt so your data is there for using the CU-HWS template. It will run from either Cumulus1 or CumulusMX realtime.txt file Keep the unzi...
