Re: Cumulus.ini corruption
The corruption idea was my attempt to understand what was happening with my friends new site. The static pages were updating but the gauges page was not. I have now got hold of his .ini file and all seems to be as I left it when I set it up. Having looked at his site via Filezilla, there are two fil...

Cumulus.ini corruption
Has anyone else suffered odd corruption of the Cumulus.ini file. I have had a couple of instances where the extra web files page has had altered data. I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that these pages are ‘self saving’, in other words they don’t need updating via a save button. A...

Re: Parser error: Unexpected Error < in JSON at position 0
Update.. After a suggestion in this thread that the problem may lie with my hosting provider I did a bit of investigation, and found other users of different websites having the same problem. I contacted 123 Reg support, who straight away acknowledged the problem. As suggested it was a measure they ...

Re: Davis WLL - missing data on computer restart
Thanks Mark I have passed alternate launcher to my friend with instructions on how to run it as an alternate if he has had to turn off his machine for any period. Then shut down the debug version after an hour or so, revert to normal and send me the log. One point that did cross my mind... I underst...

Re: Davis WLL - missing data on computer restart
Hi Mark Thanks for that. My problem with updating the System options via the menu is that the debug logging is only for the current session. This would mean that MX will have already loaded and (I guess) gone through the WLL data recall before I could change the setting in the screen. I'm going to c...

Re: Davis WLL - missing data on computer restart
Ok - Have already upgraded to 3068. Does the logging add greatly to the overhead? As I am not at the location often and the user is not IT literate, MX will be running in debug mode for some time. MX is being run on a mac via a shell script. Is this the correct syntax? #!/bin/zsh cd CumulusMX Mono C...

Davis WLL - missing data on computer restart
I have been helping a friend set up a new weather site using a Davis Vantage Pro2 ISS and a WLL device, and Cumulus MX. This is the first time I have set up a WLL. Everything seems to be working fine The website is running as expected www.charlesdowding.co.uk/weather/index.htm The Cumulus Console up...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
I have now implemented the basic.php page which seems to be working OK (latest version downloaded yesterday). I can manage to muddle my way around HTML and can edit the code in betel_readDayfile.php. My question is this... Once the page is loaded I cant seem to find a way to place a button or simila...

Windrun
As a new convert to MX I have to say I am generally very impressed. However I am struggling with one very small aspect. Windrun. Every month I write a report for our local parish mag as a review of the weather. One variable that I have been including is the total wind run for the given month. I find...

Re: Sending data to Weather Cloud
Hi
Thanks for that
Seems very odd that deleting and doing another install fixes the problem, but that is what worked for me too.
I did search the forum before posting and missed that post somehow.
