dayfile.txt

Could someone please point me to the headers for this file. I have transferred to an Excel spreadsheet and want to name the columns. This is also to understand a little more about CumulusMX and how it all fits together, particularly wrt monthly, and yearly rainfall totals that still show the wrong va...

Rainfall

I have looked in every corner of my data files over the last few days and am still unable to source where Cumulus sources data from. Editing from the drop down menus now data.png does not seem to work for me The screen shown above with total month and year rainfall have the wrong entries and I would...

Re: Where does cumulus source yr rainfall

rainfall month.png Continuing issues with rainfall errors. This is a p age from my rainfall uploads - its clear that there is a compounding rainfall error. Each day I get an additional 12.4mm of rain added to the monthly total. This is so infuriating! How do I eliminate this error? The more I edit ...

Re: SUCCESS at last

Nice look to your site?

I know this may be a daft question. But how do you change the look of your pages? Seems that my site which is powered by CumulusMX looks nothing like yours!

I suppose It's early days for me and I will achieve great things on this Forum.

Thanks :P

Re: SUCCESS at last

Fully working now - thanks to everyone that helped. One or two things to sort out to get it looking like it should. I thought I would have the same background as cumulusMX, but for some reason I still have cumulus1. It took a little longer to get there than I envisaged, but a few lessons learnt alon...

Re: Simple editing of CumulusMX data

I have Cumulus1 running and I'm beginning to think this may be my best option to use on my website again. I have struggled to get my website going, although My Paul has been very helpful over in Canada. Keeping it simple is probably best. However I would like help in clearing up my data records, esp...

Re: Simple editing of CumulusMX data

Hi I am the Robert Brooks you helped in in 2017! I remember that ... 3 years on and still having issues! I didn't recognise your username, but I knew you were in Somerset area. Thought I would try it again using an up to date CumulusMX version. I have kept all my Cumulus1 data files from 2013- I 'm ...

Re: Where does cumulus source yr rainfall

According to my rainfall this month I have now had 12.4mm . This figure was popping up through August too. It seems my mistake was adjusting the total rainfall on my Davis Console back in August. On my set up the total yr rainfall on my console governs what Cumulus shows. I have tried everything to ...

Where does cumulus source yr rainfall

I've noticed that my rainfall totals are screwed up every time it rains. The uploads to my website show the total rainfall for the year as 622.0, but everywhere I seem to look on the database shows 609.6mm. This has the effect of showing a high rainfall of 12.4mm of rain per hour the next time it ra...

SUCCESS at last

Hi everyone You will see that I have managed to upload manually to my website today. I had a play around with the setting and went for plain FTP. Not the other one. Everything looks a bit plain and there are obviously some tweaks that are required , but this is really an excellent result timed at 16...

Simple editing of CumulusMX data

Hello again It is important to me to get historical data correct and this is one area, (amongst the current downloading to my webspace problem) of both Cumulus1 and CumulusMX where I seem to fall down. I have spent hours looking at this issue and still don't appear to be on top of it. I have been co...

Re: MXdiag

Much appreciated. Think my console is 2006, but I replaced the station 3 yr ago. The downloads to CumulusMX all appear to be working OK on my PC. A few issues with rainfall, but I have worked out that these were probably due to me resetting total rainfall on my console. Adjusted data within the data...
