Re: Annual Data Summary update failure

Thanks. I can see that the Laptop is using the "," separator whereas the desktop is using the ";". Thats the old windows 10 setup default problem and does explain the corruption problem. I just copied the Cumulus directory across to the desktop for testing the aercus originally. The problem I have t...

Re: Annual Data Summary update failure

I have partially found the problem. I have a spare Console & Transmitter, testing running on different frequencies and have disabled all uploads in the test cumulus hopefully, but the dayfile.txt from the test cumulus is uploading over the laptops cumulus and causing my problem. The reason for testi...

Re: Annual Data Summary update failure

Any idea as to why my data summary, running in Firefox, is suddenly started failing? http://www.janter.co.nz/weather/data/datasummary.php?year=2018&data=minmaxt Tried it over a few days to see if the dayfile.txt was crashing it but the dayfile.txt looks normal. after it first happened, waited 1 day ...

Re: Fine Offset parts source?

I've always found that a bit of wd40 frees the bearing up for another few years. Unless of course the bearing is completely frozen.

Re: Wh1080 weather station not working

Just a suggestion. If you're running on a Dell gx620 then I assume Windows is installed on it somewhere? If not why not install Windows and use the original Cumulus 1 as it works pretty well apart from a few Fine Offset quirks. None of these constantly changing Unix problems that must really frustra...

Re: Intermittent wind speed in Fine Offset WH1080

Perhaps a connector or cable problem. Did they supply a new cable?

Re: WS1080 indoor temperature sensor?

Used my spare on the outdoor sensor but I am sure there are a lot of defunct indoor displays sitting around with members.

Re: Data flatlining

Bumped it up to 1 degree and will see what happens. Will take it higher if required.
Why would a low setting make the data flat-line. I thought it was to limit the height of the spike when there was a spike?
What do other people have the temperature spike removal set to?

Re: Data flatlining

Yes, set at 0.3C and that hasn't changed.
Mind you I have had to remove spikes larger than that at times so perhaps the spike removal is not working.
Also interesting is that the temperature spike removal is the only one operational under "Spike Removal"
