Re: Ambient Weather WS-2902A

I've had a WS-2902 since release, and wanted to use Cumulus since I was already using it. Didn't care for ambientweather's user interface and presentation. Since it only delivered the data to their own website (and WU, WeatherCloud), I ended up using their API to extract the data needed, converting ...

Re: Trouble getting ambientweather-plugin to work

I hadn't checked that yet - but I thought it was a bit slow :)
That did the trick, though. Thanks again, now I'll just have to find the time to customize it and get an DarkSky API-key.

Re: Trouble getting ambientweather-plugin to work

Somehow it works better today, but I still needed my "hack" to make it work. The URL is https://vær.strandbo.no/saratoga/wxindex.php at the moment. I added require_once("Settings-weather.php"); at the end in Settings.php, without that AWNtags.php just told me I needed to specify ...

Trouble getting ambientweather-plugin to work

I've never used Saratoga templates before, so I might have done some errors already. But even after configuring my apikey and mac-address in the Settings-weather.php file, AWNtags.php keeps telling me I need to configure these variables. AWNtags.php includes Settings.php though, not Settings-weather...

Wired weather station recommandation

Hello, I'm planning a new weatherstation at a remote site I have access to, top of a mountain on a radio antenna. There's daily hikers up there, so to try to be certain that none will try to disturb the sensors I plan to mount them on the antenna tower. Which makes it a potential hassle (climbing th...

Great news with the multiple platforms, Steve! Looking forward to trying it out.

(Fun to see all the new accounts who've registered just to gain access for the beta :P)

Re: STEVENSON SCREENS - CHEAP OPTION

This looks very good, westonweather! And thanks to Repairman77 also.

I think I will buy one of these - i fear the postage to norway xD - and set it up similarly to yours. I also have the WH1080 bump on the sunny days :)

Re: WH 1081 Indoor Readings Stuck

My indoor humidity reading has stuck itself to 85%. It was fine until I did a reset because of something else, when it got back up it had stuck on 85%.
Sometimes it goes up to 86%, but no more.

Not the worst sensor to lose, though. Not concerned. All other sensors works fine, though.

Re: Inside Temperature -50C

I have a similar problem with my WH1080. The indoor humidity has stuck on 85%. Temperature is alright, though. This also happened after a console reset.
But I haven't bothered with it, since indoors humidity isn't that important to me.

Re: It looks like the end of the cold spell for us

We also got warmer weather today, finally. Was starting to get a bit bored of sub 20 minus celsius now. Now it's about -6 so it's alright. And more snow, which is good :)

Re: WS 1081 Probs with air speed sender

Many of us has had a problem like this. The solutions can be to oil up the bearing, or replace it.
I oiled up mine, and it's been working well ever since, even down to -26ºC.
You'll find more threads about it here if you use the search function.
