email when low battery occurs on vantage vue
Hi all, Searched everywhere and can't seem to find anything about this (which surprises me, maybe I'm not looking in the right place). I have a Davis Vantage Vue and running Cumulus 1.94 (Ion Windows XP and because it's stable!). The system runs unnattended and I rarely look at the Cumulus window or...

Re: Swapping from WMR88 to Davis Vantage Vue
Hi Steve, Nearly right mate! Took a while, but eventually found that the VP Type needed to be set to serial in the Station configuration page. Then it burst into life :D Now for a bit of fine tuning and hopefully this will sit there and bubble away for years (not like the damned WMR88!). Thanks heap...

Swapping from WMR88 to Davis Vantage Vue
Hi everyone, I've been using Cumulus for a couple of years now, getting its data from an Oregon Scientific WMR88. I've had untold problems with the wireless link from the wind and rain sensors, to the point I'm going to replace the WMR88 with a Davis Vantage Vue with a USB datalogger. My question is...

Re: WMR88 and Cumulus sensor battery status indications
One thing I could quite easily do in the short term is to make the individual bars invisible until a packet has been received from that sensor. Thanks for the lightning speed response, Steve :D And that solution I think is a great method. Can that be enhanced a bit to say "If I haven't had any...

Re: WMR88 and Cumulus sensor battery status indications
Cumulus doesn't choose the colour, I suspect it's determined by the version of Windows and the theme in use. The indicator for the WMR88 is either off or on, and sensors which aren't present give an 'on' indication (basically, a flag is set when a battery is bad). Hi everyone. Sorry to bring this o...

WM918 for parts or repair
Hi all,
In case anyone needs spares for a WM918 weather station, I've just posted one on eBay which has everything working except the weather vane and anemometer. Item number: 140920810318.
Cheers

Thanks for the prompt reply, Steve.steve wrote:You haven't put the entire contents of the Cumulus webfiles folder onto your web site. For the Flash gauges, you're missing the CumulusRealtime.swf file.
The CumulusRealtime.swf file is under weather2/webfiles - is this not correct?

Realtime Gauges not displaying
Hi all, New to Cumulus so please excuse any naivity! Have successfully installed Cumulus 1.9.2 build 1032 and Cumulus Toolbox and mostly running fine. I'm having trouble getting the realtime gauge to display on the web pages - it shows as a blank section on the page but the object frame is there. Th...
