Hi, I have just virtualised all my servers.... and very diappointed to find Cumulus USB won't connect to the USB of the virtual machine, i have configured the USB ports on host to be for the one VM that cumulus is installed on (my webserver) unfortunally all other devices seem to work just fine when...

Re: Outside Temperature 'Spikes'

You can stop Cumulus recording these glitches by:-

editing Cumulus.ini, and in the [Station] section add a line:

EWtempdiff=x.x

Where x.x is the threshold you want to set (in degrees C), eg:

EWtempdiff=2.5

would ignore rises or falls of 2.5C or more in successive readings.

Event Log

Not really a problem but anyone any idea why my event log on the W2K3 server Cumulus is running on is filling up with:- ------------------------- the content index filter for file "c:\program files\cumulus\data\apr09log.txt" generated content data more than 8 times the file's size. For mor...

Re: Large Outside Temp Fluctuations

I had a similar problem, Steve did an undocumented fix for me, which works perfectly edit Cumulus.ini, and in the [Station] section add a line: EWtempdiff=x.x Where x.x is the threshold you want to set (in degrees C), eg: EWtempdiff=2.5 would ignore rises or falls of 2.5C or more in successive readi...

Re: New rain rate calculation

Steve,

I think there is a problem with this.....

today 2.1mm rain
rate now an all time record of 75.3mm/hr

Re: Ajaxed index-page

This is a terrific improvement over the standard index page...well done.

I love the way it flashes red for 2 seconds if a value changes....Steve that would be a nice addition to the main Cumulus console (the flashing if change bit)

Cheers

Re: Poor contrast W-8681

Hi Guys,

Personally I think the 8681 represents fantastic value for money....granted contrast not great but I wouldn't want to tool up and produce these units for the prices we are paying....and ship them half way around the world!
