I have just added the Feels Like temperature to the second temperature gauge: Schermafbeelding 2021-07-31 210245.jpg The language.js (the gauge texts have their own translation) now has the following strings added: feel_title : 'Feels Like', feel_info : 'Feels Like Temperature', feel_web : 'Feels Li...

Extra sensor file

I am looking into the extra sensors facility of CMX. I did that some three years ago and now repeating it. There is one thing which still makes me wonder at first glance: if I have only one extra sensor I immediately get a file with a huge record size (and now with the Ecowitt additions probably eve...

Re: CumulusUtils

Version 6.0.0 is online ( See Release Notes ) The ChartsCompiler will no doubt get some additions and modification in future but at the moment it can generate all charts by CMX and it can also plot additional data which are not standard charted by CMX (like e.g. heating degreedays). Re: Graph upload

I don't think iframe is required but @Armond you will need to create a page to use the cumuluscharts.js from CMX and you will need to find out what is required to include those charts and what you need to do on the HTML level. This is not really general knowledge because it has to do with your site....

[...] But I see it's getting more complicated now. I should just be happy that someone is keeping Cumulus alive, and let them make what they think are the best decisions for the project. Well said, a bit of understanding does miracles ;) It have been turbulent surprising developments lately ... :)

I see no intrinsic reason why Cumulus.ini couldn't be uploaded to the website
Security? There are un/pw and all kind of keys for third party sites (e.g. WU) in it. Bad idea.

Re: Graph upload

I just found out you do have a working standard MX site including the charts.
So what would you like to achieve would be my first question?

Re: Graph upload

@Armond: Do you have a website already would then be the first question before telling how to get it to your server. Or do you wish to make use of the standard website or any of the templates Cumulusutils is a tool which creates parts for your website or creates a complete website. It can upload aut...

Re: monthly totals update

When moving to another machine be aware of the locale settings!
That may ruin your access to the data somewhat. Is that the same on the new machine as it was on the old one?

Re: How to get web page working after v1 -> MX upgrade?

@DanielF: I won't deny there is room for improvement in the file naming of both data and noaa files (or ini files for that matter). But having said that: if you sort the files alphabetically, data as well as noaa files are basically sorted on month. So you get NOAAMOmmyy which makes it pretty easy t...

Re: How to get web page working after v1 -> MX upgrade?

And maybe @mcrossley could take this as a hint to make the NOAA directory/filenames fixed (as I suggested myself some time ago). Or better still, make the Java code handle the various available filename options, so users can choose the intelligent name option and still have the reports display! ;) ...

Re: How to get web page working after v1 -> MX upgrade?

So I renamed my local reports back to the (bad) default (can't sort monthlies by name=chronological), reinstated the original .js file (with just the relative Reports/ path added) on the server and uploaded the reports to the server. They now display as expected. Hans wins! :x Thank you :D Not so m...
