Re: Using a backup creates double entries in dayfile

Aha, interesting.. would the| json lib have been written in some other language?
That would mean a switch of the json dll i assume... Means i have to switch as well (trying to match the cmx environment to prevent distribution of other files).

Soon I hope, I'm testing memory leak fixes, and that takes time as I need to let MX run for a day or so each time.
Ok.
Didn't know C# makes memory leaks possible unless runtime system bugs... Garbage collection not working?

Re: Using a backup creates double entries in dayfile

Any idea when a new release comes up with this problem solved?
(if I want to investigate the other issue I would like to see this one fixed ;) )

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)

Do you try to reach the AirLink on the LAN from a machine on the LAN?
Seems to me the ddns address can't be reached from the inside of the LAN.
If you try over G4 by phone you might see it though. Might have nothing to do with the port probably.

Re: Sensor PM 2.5 & PM 10 - Purpleair Network www.purpleair.com

For those interested in this American 'correction' of actual measurements into 'corrected' (read reduced) values of particle matters sensor output. Some additional articles (I may update this post if I find more interesting things) An updated version (dated April 21, 2020) of the article that really...

Hans ..... The answer's 42, you must understand the question first Ah, that's what you get when using the word hitchhiking I Guess  But indeed, I assumed you ment something else... Good. I think we understand each other.
And to end it:

These 'home' sensors are rather like the microwave, wonderful idea, sits in the corner, good if you're in a hurry - results, mixed ;)
I guess it depends on the cook. Evidently they do say something...

@beteljuice:
I deleted my previous answer as i think i misread your remark.
I now understand you regard the AirLink and The PurpleAir as home toys. Yes?

Ok. But what is the reference then?
And what with the AQ calcs?

And yes, agreed for the gas sensors. That is more difficult.

Re: Sensor PM 2.5 & PM 10 - Purpleair Network www.purpleair.com

I guess they will do that. Hope a bit more info will be published about the reference and method. NOTE: I said above the specification of the correction for T and RH is in the specification of the sensor. For my PMS1003 it is only for T and it is not in a formula so indeed some research needs to be ...

Re: Sensor PM 2.5 & PM 10 - Purpleair Network www.purpleair.com

2) My second remark is to the article @ConligWX refers to. USEPA share their findings of the PA against there own certified sensors https://cfpub.epa.gov/si/si_public_record_report.cfm?Lab=CEMM&dirEntryId=348488 Wonder if the AirLink will also be tested. I know the PA maps have a drop-down to select...

Re: Sensor PM 2.5 & PM 10 - Purpleair Network www.purpleair.com

Because I am currently working on a Davis AirLink emulator , diving deep into this type of sensors, I would like to make two remarks. The first here, the second in my next post. 1) The basic question in this thread is: Why not think about implementing Cumulus even with this data? maybe it is possibl...
