Re: Reworked default websites
Thanks for your efforts Neil. Really like this template and how it works with all the various web browsers. Hi all If you use a subfolder for your data there is an error in the ws-extra.js file that causes the gauges not to work. Line 22 should read: if( dataPath.length > 0 && dataPath.slic...

Re: Reworked default websites
Update: I found the issue, in the "ws-extra.js" file, in the latest update, "/data" directory was the issue, in the past it has been ""/ Sorry to bother yall! Neil, just a note, it appears the latest alternative website update has broken something. I've uploaded the fi...

Re: Reworked default websites
Hi all
Further to the update yesterday, I noted that the gauges were not using the modified tooltips so the last update (with tooltips) is now available on the wiki.
Neil.

Re: Reworked default websites
Further to 'The Dalek Hunter's request, I have now included Lightning Strikes on the Dashboard of the default website. If you don't have a sensor, it won't display but if you do, you will need to add some web tags to the websitedataT.json file. All information is included in the 'readme' file includ...

Re: Alternative CumulusMX Interface
Hi all I have corrected the issues with the log editor units and added the ability to add your own units for any extra sensors displayed in the 'Extra Data Logs' page - some are predefined like temperature and humidity but you can add appropriate units for the others as required. On all the above ed...

Re: Alternative CumulusMX Interface
Very good Neil, love it. One small think in the Editors not all fields use cumulus.ini Unit settings. Rain rate defaults to mm/hr and I use in/hr so a quick edit and all's well. I assume that all pages now work correctly and will update cumulus, ini correctly and you have eliminated the problems wit...

Re: Alternative CumulusMX Interface
Hi all For those of you who have downloaded the beta release of CumulusMX4 using .NET8, there is now a beta version of the AI - AIv4 which makes use of the developments of CumulusMX 4 and in which, I believe, all pages work as required, including the Alpaca Forms pages used for the majority of the s...

Re: Reworked default websites
Hello again I've hit a problem! I uploaded build 3283a but since doing so I cannot get any data to load. The latest diagnostic report shows the following message:- 2024-03-28 13:14:39.758 InitTCP: Error - Unable to write data to the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the...

Re: Reworked default websites
Hello Neil Apologies for not responding to your recent message. I have absolutely no idea why I entered 'Verdana' as a choice of theme! I'd never heard of or indeed used that word but in subsequently restoring a theme Cumulus would recognise, I inadvertently deleted or did something that resulted i...

Re: Reworked default websites
Hi Just checking your site to see if you have successfully changed it and see that you have tried to use a theme called 'Verdana' - there is no theme with that name so the pages are transparent. Please use only the themes that are in the Themes folder. These are: Arcadia, Arcadia-Dark, Cherry-Tomato...
