Re: CumulusMX dashboard

You need to focus on getting the connection between your weather station and CumulusMX. Are you using a USB or serial cable between the station and your pc? I am unfamiliar with the that particular weather station so are you sure that it is set up to send data to Cumulus? If you are using a serial c...

Re: CumulusMX dashboard

Firstly, it looks like you have uploaded the 'interface' folder to your website - not a good idea. This interface is intended for your use on your local system, not as a public website. You should delete all these files from your web host and upload the contents of the 'webfiles' folder. However, th...

Re: Which Linux flavors are most successful so far?

Hi I have recently moved over to a Raspberry Pi 3 from a Windows system and have been very impressed. It works reliably and is easy to configure to do extra work if required. Pugged it directly into a plug with a USB outlet and it works. I have even used an old webcam to upload images - far more con...

Re: Hardware Recommendations (Urgent)

Hi. I use the Oregon WMR200 though I would love to upgrade to the Davis system. The WMR200 works fine but replacing the batteries is a pain! My system is up a 6 m pole and I have to drop the whole system to get access. I have also had issues with the main temperature sensor packing up after 3 years....

Re: Cumulus 'Freezing'

Hi I had a similar issue, manifested by the temperature readings from the external unit flat lining. Resetting the station resolved the issue for short periods of time but within a few weeks, the problem re-occurred. I had replaced batteries in the outside unit several times but eventually, I simply...

Re: Information cumulus mx

hello, sorry to bother you, I installed the version of cumulus mx on my pc and I have to say that it is well done. I'm not an expert and I was wondering if the new visible graphical interface on the PC was also reproduced in the web page. Thank you Hi. I am in the process of developing a similar in...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hi Neil The download buttons for MX don't work for me; though the moon phase and 1.9.4 download buttons work. I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox. Colin Here you go. http://oaktreewebs.co.uk/resources/AlternateLocalSite.zip http://oaktreewebs.co.uk/resources/CumulusMX-Site.zip Hi all that ha...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hi Neil Great stuff! Thanks for allowing the use of the local template on MX. I have I used it myself. I did start customising it all a while back, and then i forgot about it and gave up. This is nice and clean, I like it. :) I have added my own background, but I seem to have an issue viewing the g...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hi all. The moon image has now been updated and contains 3 variations; one 90 x 90 pix, one 135 x 135px and a new version 180 x 180px. It's all in one package with a 'read me' file to explain how to use. Feel free to use. Noticed today that the new images are reversed, waxing not waning so have upd...

Slight coding issue. You should be able to download both MX sites now. I assume you were able to view the screenshot slideshow.

Reworked default websites

Hi all. Over the past few weeks, I have been reworking all of the default websites used by Cumulus. I.e., the local website used by MX users to manage their data, the provided template for publication on the web and also, the original web template provided by v1.9. All of these have been initially m...

Re: Exporting data from cumulus

Hi You should be able to set up any line of tags separated by commas, (or other separator) and then simply get Cumulus to process the file at the required interval. You will need to provide a destination file name (local to the machine) but then simply don't opt to ftp it to a remote server. The onl...
