Thanks Steve for the reply , turned on ftp logging and tried to understand what it was telling me , not into programming as you can tell , however in the mean time something changed and everything is running fine , thanks again

Hi Steve thanks for your input , after a month or so of disrupted data I have eventually found the problem. The culprit was , as you rightly pointed out not Cumulus , but quite simply a faulty USB to serial port cable (only six months old) , replaced and all problems gone. Wish i had found this out ...

Update , Steve no bug reports now just the initial "serial port is being used by another application" and cumulus cannot collect any data.

Hi Steve thanks for replying so quickly. Yes I have had a long term "serial port is being used by another application" problem. Initially it occurred once or twice a month , then increased until it was several times a day. Unplugging my usb to serial port connection and restarting the Cumu...

Hello , just upgraded to1.9.3 build 1059 and have started to repeatedly get a bugreport , the file is attached. I noticed that at one point there was a "device read error" could it be that a battery is failing and causing a faulty reading and so creating the report of an error. I have no i...
