Re: Solar Data and "Max" Values

Glad to see this thread as my readings are identical to everybody else's. Would it be possible to add a calibration factor in the setup options in cumulus. How do you know that your solar readings are wrong? What are you comparing them to? Like yourself I am more interested in hours of sunshine the...

Re: Solar Data and "Max" Values

Glad to see this thread as my readings are identical to everybody else's. Would it be possible to add a calibration factor in the setup options in cumulus. I have not had a chance to look yet (only had the station a week) and we dont see much sun here in Wales! but how does the data look in weather ...

Re: help with site for VP2

The Vantage has been working great for a couple of days, very pleased with this system now. Yesterday we had very fine rain which was blowing horizontally and as predicted (steve) it did not register as raining as it was blowing straight over the collection bowl. It is sited up on top of the silo be...

Re: Vantage Vue more reliable than Ambient WS-1090?

I have just got my VP2 yesterday evening. I assembled it in the house and powered it up, before I could read the manual what to do next the console was saying it was connected to station 1 :D Changed a couple of settings in Cumulus and it has been on line since. In fact I have deleted the data from ...

build 1047 UV & solar graphs websites

Hi Steve. New VP2 arrived yesterday and is sited and running so I thought I would try 1.9.3 because of extra sensor support. Sorry if I am reading the wrong section (or not as the case maybe). I wondered what your plans are for showing the uv and solar data. In the view graphs in Cumulus I see graph...

Re: Sensor location

Best place for my FO is in the rubbish bin. Blinking thing has lost contact again today and given all sorts of incorrect data. VP2 is on order but while I wait this one is driving me nuts. I have done all sorts of mods suggested on here to improve Tx & Rx. I have taken all the plugs and sockets ...

Re: help with site for VP2

Cant be bothered to edit it all out yet again. So I will be dumping this years weather data and startin...

Also can i easily generate an average daily wind run figure If you open a copy of dayfile.txt in Excel, then select the wind run column for the period you want, Excel will show you the total and average for the selected period. I imagine other spreadsheet software has the same facility. Will give t...
