Re: Standard Files Upload - Suppress index.htm
This is a divergence from original subject of this topic, but since I have been challenged, I will respond... it was not a feature of Cumulus 1, but a feature of the Windows installer That could be misinterpreted as suggesting Microsoft rather than Steve Loft was responsible, that is not what you me...

Re: Standard Files Upload - Suppress index.htm
In the /web folder, delete the template file, indexT.htm , it is that simple. Even with standard files ticked, it can't process and upload a file that does not exist. Obviously, the index.htm locally and on your website has to be deleted as you don't want them. If you install a new release, it will ...

Re: Rebuilding data
I have found that all my pressure values (for the last year) were slightly off and would like to re-write them across the complete year I am assuming slightly off implies you wish to add/subtract a constant to update all pressure values in a date range. If you can use spreadsheets (e.g. Libre Offic...

Re: Air Quality Measurements
Should be... The AQI for the 24 hours of that day - i.e. the value at 23:59? It is made very clear in https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/304633/COMEAP_review_of_the_uk_air_quality_index.pdf (page 17) that 24 hour mean at end of day is what...

Re: WEBTAGS temperature compared to yesterday
Hi, can I show a tag with value of temperature compared to yesterday ? Example: today at h:xx:xx we have 15 °C, yesterday we had at same time h:xx:xx 13 °C, so I would have web tags (or function) that print "-2" compared to yesterday Thanks, regards. I think webtag <#RecentOutsideTemp d=1> is good:...

Re: Simpler CMX use on Raspberry Pi
This topic in in a sub-forum for suggestions about improving MX. Prodata suggests running MX on a Raspberry Pi can't be recommended unless MX is changed, it appears to be based on a number of assumptions and lacking in supporting evidence. This reply presents evidence that the Raspberry Pi is easy t...

Re: Server side graphics
The posts in this topic are a confusing mixture of - those suggesting MX is badly designed and hard to use - those confusing basic features of MX and optional extras that can be added - those forgetting this topic is about a suggestion for an extra feature to be added to MX. This post will try to ma...

Re: NOAA reports
Currently running on windows 10. I checked and altered NOAA format as suggested I enabled debugging through the interface. I have run the regenerate for Jan - Aug and saw the pop up saying it has done it but only data in last few days of June report, All July and start of August. Numbers refers to ...

Re: FineOffset (WH1028) - Daily Graphs not showing and other quirks
the previous MX releases were displaying it. I guess new code had more stricter formatting rules. That is interesting. Several users recently have had problems with dates, but before that the problem was not being reported if it did happen. Mark will no doubt comment in a while, but I am guessing t...

Re: Recovering MX properly from locale issues
Should I edit and replace all data txt files? And what about monthly and yearly ini-files? I can't answer this and most of your other questions, but And is this even possible, or are the locale settings coming from mono package and hardcoded inside it? you can over-ride the mono locale - see https:...

Re: FineOffset (WH1028) - Daily Graphs not showing and other quirks
Okay, sounds like there are lots of hyphens to change to slashes. You need to be careful you don't change any minus signs in front of numbers, so you can't edit in a text editor with replace all (or global replace) functionality. I suggest you use a spreadsheet package like the Calc feature in Libre...

Re: NOAA reports
have you done the step to change the NOAA monthly filename templates? Further advice on NOAA file naming at https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Webtags#The_format_used_for_naming_reports if your name does not match Mark's example. By the way, have you tried to regenerate the yearly report? That should not ha...

Re: NOAA reports
I looked at several of those logs, and cannot find any reference to NOAA. Tell us when you tried to regenerate your NOAA report? It might be because none of those logs cover 4 July when you made your first post and the date when I thought it would have been that you tried to regenerate the reports. ...
