Re: Saratoga, CumulusMX and new trend graphs

Hmm, If you wish to to use the myhost/cumulus/xxx.json files from the myhost/web/ folder, then the way to reference them is to add ../cumulus in front to the file name. e.g. myhost/cumulus/js/cumuluscharts.js myhost/web/wxgraphs2.php (or wxcharts.php - or whatever the file name is) should contain th...

Re: Access to current data (not documented?)

Just an alternative suggestion; Not sure what your total setup is, but you could easily construct a template file with whatever format you want, in the CumulsMX/web folder and configure extra web files to generate a corresponding data file at the "realtime" interval you have configured in MX. Extra ...

Re: Alternative Monthly Extremes using <#webtag>s

records.js I have made many changes/updates to cumulus1 and cumulusMX standard website template files I am not 100% sure which are original anymore. However I think the following describes the original setup. In C:\cumulusMX\web folder there is a recordsT.dat file. This same file also exists in cumu...

Re: Alternative Monthly Extremes using <#webtag>s

Is there a particular reason for not using the records.js file that CumulusMX uploads as part of the default uploads it makes? I have a php script producing the output which uses the records.js file. I am not sure of the original source of the file but it appears to be the CumulusMX interface with a...

Re: USNO-sunmoon error messages

PLEASE DISREGARD THIS SUGGESTION. There are a couple of other changes required elsewhere to properly implement this modification. BCJKiwi Ken has given you the clue. Provided you are using ver 3.02 of the script as recommended, you can switch between using USNO or built-in code. The built-in code do...

Re: Old Cumulus user, new Davis user

Check out the AUS radio communications regulations. Most of these frequencies have been rationalised around the world. Here in NZ we were unable to use the US Davis kit without infringing the frequency range but that all changed a few years ago with the rationalisation and we can now legally use the...

Re: HostPresto changing PHP from 5.6 to 7.2 - will this stop scripts working?

Umm.. beteljuices datasummary package?? I referenced satatogaWX's post and the changes he advised to betel_readDayfile.php, and I advised the version (October) that was already updated. It seems you are running an earlier version (September) than the current version (October) that I advised in my la...

Re: HostPresto changing PHP from 5.6 to 7.2 - will this stop scripts working?

The changes SaratogaWX advised are already in the version I have (7.1 October 2018).

So if you have the latest then you should be OK.

Re: HostPresto changing PHP from 5.6 to 7.2 - will this stop scripts working?

@ Ray Don't know which version of Beteljuice's Datasummary script you are using but the curent one works fine in PHP 5.x and 7.2.x (currently on 7.2.10-dev server & 7.2.9- public server) I know, I have tested it extensively in multiple versions of 7.2 and with multiple browsers. There are some varia...

Re: PHP code in Cumulus index.htm (indexT.htm)

You can rename the standard files. Option 1 In CumulusMX Settings / Internet Settings / Web/FTP settings, turn OFF (un-tick) include standard files. Then, In Extra Webfiles, set up the local filename with the htm as it is in the web folder after processing and Remote filename with the destination ad...

Re: A few brave testers wanted please

Yes, there is a 'px' being added by the "configurator" on the the testing site so you end up with 75pxpx. However there is no px in the file in the recent download link in beteljuice's post two before this so this has been resolved? At the end of the javascript (in the help.txt file generated by the...

Re: New Cumulus Home

All the way from New Zealand:-
I have changed the url to;
https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk
and that works fine.

Just tried the old url which was slow when the site was first changed over but now it is the same speed as the new url.

However the odd menu item here and there is slow when in logged in.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

The only diference between the two (apart from the threshold setting) is that one is CumulusMX and the other Cumulus(1) All systems settings are otherwise the same including Lat/long etc. MX chart shows a theoretical max of 1059 W/M 2 (@ 13:05) which is the max for the day. While the Cumulus(1) char...

Steve. - Sun Threshold does affect the count of sunshine hours. As promised have run the comparison BUT, did not get what I expected on two counts:- 1. The numbers were different (where peviously they were the same). 2. They were the opposite to what might be expected. Settings:- CumulusMX - Envoy,...
