Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Yes, in my version I did modify somewhat the betel_datasummary.css file and called it meteo900_betel_datasummary.css which is included in the 7.1 version. The url to my page is https://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/dayfilesummary900_V7_1.php and have tried it on several browsers (Firefox, IE, and C...

Re: Weather Underground false email notices
I just received this notification from WU in response to false emails! Station Reporting Status Emails under review Thanks for reporting this to us. This was due to an email server malfunction and was not a security breach or a hacking attempt. Your PWS data has not been affected. The erroneous emai...

Re: Weather Underground false email notices
I've been getting these erroneous emails as well including ones for stations I have nothing to do with since yesterday 10/09/2014.
I logged onto WU and it appears that many people are seeing the same thing and they say that they are looking into the problem.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi beteljuice,
I tried "height: 22px;", but only saw a little change so I started experimenting and it looks like "height: 32px;" seems to do the trick...I think.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi beteljuice, I tried the recent Version you made available that becomes Version 2.1 and as far as I can see every thing appears to be OK ! ;) This should correctly keep space for the title and 'pickers' but ... they may be 10 px low of middle in the border - in which case try modding ccs: The titl...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi beteljuice, Has the beteljuice ever mentioned he hates css ? Yes, I think I've seen you mention that on a couple of ocassions. ;) I managed to download your replacement code (before you removed it) and tried it out. The replacement code at least got the troublesome areas inside the box. I tried t...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
With the latest Version (2.0) I noticed that a new ' .css ' file was added ( meteo900_betel_datasummary.css ) and after taking a look at it with with the following URL: http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/datasummaryBJ2/basic900.php I decided to incorporate it into my Weather Blues template ( http...

Hi Steve,
I've been using Cumulus for almost 2 years and really find it very easy to use. I am sending a donation to re-up.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi Beetlejuice,
Thanks again,
Thanks, that took care of the problem. You wouldn't believe how many times I probably looked at that line without it registering with me that that was the problem...Baro inHg = my problem - single occurence of a single character not capitaised ...
Thanks again,

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi Barry, Thanks, for the reply. ;) I had made the necessary changes to lines 44 thru 47 to reflect the the correct uom for my data, but that didn't do the trick. :( 'temp' => (isset($SITE['uomTemp']) ? substr($SITE['uomTemp'], -1) : 'F'), // CJW 'rain' => (isset($SITE['uomRain']) ? substr($SITE['uo...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Thanks Graham64 for steering me in the right direction on this fix.   Although I'm not sure that 1300 is enough for some parts of the world. Yes, for my website I had to change 1300 to 1500. See mine at http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/datasummaryBJ/basic750.php or http://www...

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
Hi BT, Well, have been running the new Weathercaster and wanted to let you know it appears to be running quite well and is fairly accurate. I even received my first forecast for snow this morning. Forecast: Snow or showers followed by improvement early in period (within 6 hours); No important change...

Re: Annual data Summary (DAJ script) - show day-of-week
Joe: Go here: http://www.kpw3.com/c.php?view=sce and paste the code into your own page. Then go here: http://www.kpw3.com/css/datasummary3.css and use that code to create the css file. You'll have to make sure that paths to dayfile.txt and the stylesheet (.css) are correct for your site, of course....

Re: Annual data Summary (DAJ script) - show day-of-week
The beteljuice had to do quite a bit of fixing so that Experiment gives the same colours (and contrast text) in a 'like-for-like' way. Are you planning on releasing your " Experiment " anytime soon? I have been following this thread with great anticipation so that I can incorporate it int...
